The NAACP is asking fans to boycott attending all NFL games as well as watching at home until Colin Kaepernick is gifted a job. An NAACP leader in Atlanta gave the following information.
"There will be no football if Colin Kaepernick is not on a training camp roster and given an opportunity to pursue his career," said Gerald Griggs from Atlanta NAACP. "This is not a simple request. This is a statement. This is a demand.and if Mr. Kaepernick is not allowed to pursue his career, then on September the 17th, we are going to have the world's largest tailgate. We will take a knee, and we will continue to take a knee on the NFL until they act with one voice."
Perhaps I'm not swarthy enough to understand how Kaepernick OPTING OUT OF HIS CONTRACT equals the NFL not allowing him to pursue his career but I'm taking a hard pass on the boycott and look forward to watching as many games as possible and hopefully attending several.
I'm sure at least several of the regulars on this board will honor the boycott after all the support that has been given Kap and his pal spike lee. Let's see a show of hands of those posters who will boycott.

Only due to that ridiculous statement I hope Kap never takes a snap in the NFL again. I couldn't care less if the members of the NAACP don't watch. I watched tonight and I will continue to watch as many games as I can.

Blair Walsh seems to have found his accuracy again. Maybe there's hope for Aguayo too. How pissed would that make Bucs fans?

He was the nicest guy when he was in Minnesota. He must be bitter that the Vikings let him go. What did he expect when he consistently missed big FGs? He did miss one after that though. No finger pointing on that one.

I never did hold the Seattle playoff miss against him. His rookie year he did some great things for the Vikings. I hope he can find that success again, but if happens that the Seahawks and the Vikings meet in the playoffs again he owes us one.

Seemingly hitting everything his first few years and then having major problems his senior season. He seemed to fix it with the Vikings as you know and was insane that rookie season but then got the yips again. It's amazing how some guys like Morten Anderson were so consistent he had careers with TWO different teams and dabbled with several others including the Vikings.
