Great movie, but Ron Kovic always struck me as a pretty unstable guy, at least based on the portrayal of him in the movie. The guy goes from rabid right to rabid lefty by the time the movie is done. He seemed off before he even went to Vietnam.

Talk Radio is among my favorites too. Very "tight" movie with a very limited number of characters, locations and themes. That's why it works so beautifully. Stone can sometimes be a bit too ambitious for his own good, trying to put too much into one story, which results in uneven films. I like Natural Born Killers but I think it's a good example of that problem.
