MAJOR SPOILER Below for Anyone Who Hasn't Seen "URBAN LEGEND". -------------------------------- I suspect that I am in the Minority on this one but I absolutely loved Rebecca Gayhearts Performance as a Psychotic Serial Killer in the Movie "URBAN LEGEND".

She was creepy-and here I thought she was only concerned about her supply of Clearasil...

I know the movie is kind of cheesy but I liked it when I watched it many years ago. I think I may have been pretty buzzed when I saw it though because I didn't see the twist coming. Gayheart was smoking hot back then though. I wasn't that buzzed.

I'm with you. I loved her performance. The movie itself tried a little too hard with the jump scares, and it gets a little tiresome after a while, but then it's all worth it when you get to the whole "Ms. THANG!" speech.
Gayheart was the best thing in the movie.

I rewatched this recently, it is still an okay enough movie, even though the lack of blood in the murder scenes lets it down. One almost gets the impression that certain scenes were heavily cut, but apparently this was the director's original intention: to make a movie with little gore, focusing more on suspense. It is a bit too restrained for my taste though. Rebecca Gayheart was quite enjoyable, definitely the best from the female cast. It's interesting looking at the actors almost 20 years later and what became of them. Who would've thought that Jared Leto would go on to win an Oscar?

LOL, I was on YOUTUBE and I found this old Siskel & Ebert review of the Movie. They both gave it Thumbs Down but it seemed (to me at least) like Ebert enjoyed a certain moment at the end of it involving Rebecca Gayheart's character.

I love how Ebert is schooling Siskel on the state of contemporary movie violence and trends in horror movies. I wouldn't consider URBAN LEGEND a great film, but it does seem to be making its way toward the status of classic, albeit more for its age and stayability than quality.
