It's absolute nonsense to play a whole second game if the first ends in a draw. Everyone complains about crowded schedules. Get it done in the first match, even if it has to go to penalties.

Yeah, Penalties suck but get a winner in the 90 and penalties are irrelevant. It makes sense not to have replays, it really does.
On another thing, why do Americans call it Penalty Kicks ? Has anyone ever not kicked it ? I'm assuming it's completely within the rules to head it from 12 yards, but really ?

Those thrilling 0-0 ties are what makes soccer a ummmm.......... I got nothing. Sometimes 0-0 games are completely crap, no doubt. Some games though feature plenty of chances but the defenders and 'keeper of both sides are just too good. Ive seen plenty of MLB and NFL games that have really low scores too, and some NFL games that only have FG's kicked.

I don't mind abolishing them for games at neutral venues, but it's unfair to do it in ties which are at one team's home. If you're drawn away from home you have to play 120 minutes + penalties against home advantage.

It's a good source of income for lower league and non-league clubs all round the country. The FA Cup still draws in the crowds, so I say leave it as it is.
