WHY isn't there a poll for this?!Because I can't be bothered to look up which operating systems are currently used.

Microsoft didn't make it easy, but when it came to Windows 10 I was able to successfully:

P.S. I use an old 1980s Commodore 16 computer sometimes for nostalgia/retrocomputing. I guess it has an operating system (though no GUI).

I’m currently using Linux Mint version 18.1. I’ve been using Linux for about 5 or 6 years now, and I’m happy with it. Can’t beat it for a free OS. Though I did send a small donation off more recently.

Windows 10 on my laptop, which means I have to relearn everything from scratch that I knew how to do on XP and all the previous MS OS's.
Windows 8.1 on my phone, which means all the ads that say here is a gee whiz fantastic app to do gee whiz fantastic things on your phone, doesn't apply to me despite having a powerful phone with excellent basic apps.
Icecream on my tablet which ditto above.

MacOS at home. I'm still on Yosemite, but only because my computer is aging and can't upgrade operating systems.
I use Windows at work, though I don't know which one. It sucks whatever it is. It can't render graphics worth shit.

I have Windows 7 on my PC and Windows 8 on my laptop. I have been meaning to make the upgrade to Windows 10 but I heard some things like Windows Media Player, Microsoft Word and Paint don't work on it and it looks really different than the previous versions of Windows.

Windows 7 and Windows XP on a partitioned drive.
I only use Windows 7 nowadays since XP suddenly decided to lock off the internet for some reason back in May.

Windows 10
I don't understand the need for people to use older OS's. Unless there's a program you really need that is only compatible with an older OS. But in those cases you should have it as a secondary boot option or a separate computer.

Windows 10 I don't understand the need for people to use older OS's. How about the fact that Windows 10: - Gives you less control over Windows Updates
- Spies on you
- Serves you ads
- Has a Start Menu that's inferior to that in Windows 7

Yes, I suppose that part can be annoying. If you have slow internet. Prove it? What ads are you talking about? Where? Who cares? The start menu isn't even necessary. You can access all your most used programs from the desktop or taskbar, and if you ever need anything else, you can simply do a search for it. Much easier.
