Best: Raging Bull (if an actor ever only does one movie like this he/she can call it quits right there and be considered one of the best) Taxi Driver Cape Fear Honorable mentions: Midnight Run, Heat
Worst: Frankenstein Dirty Grandpa Rocky and Bullwinkle
As low as his career has gone he will always have my great respect for Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Godfather part 2, Mean Streets, Good Fellas, King of Comedy, The Mission, Midnight Run, Cape Fear, Heat...
No other actor except maybe Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, Meryl Streep, Jack Nicholson or Laurence Olivier, and more recently maybe Leonardo DiCpario, has as sustained a run of quality performances in movies. |
