Maybe the creators see the talent in her that we have yet to see and maybe the show will have some sort of make over or CGI for her? And until such time that we actually see that talent or cgi on full display then we are justified in being critical about her lack of credentials and un-starfire looks no? Keep lacking and don’t watch it then.

No. Point is none of the actors/actresses look like the character like in the comics when it comes to full makeover/CGI.

Have no idea who she is. Or the girl they got for Raven for that matter.

I was hoping they'd get a younger looking actress, but I don't have an issue with her being black....I mean no one cares Gamora is. Zoe Saldana is actually Latina. Just like Gina Torres. They both are cast as black a lot because of their darker skin tone. But about Diop. I see a lot of people are mostly mentioning her age rather than her ethnicity. They have a 13 year old Raven, but Starfire is about to be 30... Would be cool if they were actually doing the Teen Titans instead of calling them Titans so they don't have to worry about age. Since she is that old, I'm guessing Nightwing will be around the same age. And does that mean the Nightwing movie is off?

This is for tv not a movie. That would cost way too much.

I just figured some sort of change to make her look like the comic character I really hope they don't have her "power up" into her comic appearance. That takes a bit from the character. Just give her a wig or lighten her hair and give her unnaturally green contacts (not full eye). If they have to do a change, instead of the contacts make her eyes glow green when she is about to fight. Kinda like they do with Storm in the movies.

Just look at Lex Luthor in 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' and the Green Arrow in 'Arrow.' He doesn't have the longer hair or trademark goatee and he is younger than he is in a lot of the Green Arrow comic books I have read. Both actors playing the Flash are a lot skinnier than the Flash was in the comic books and Supergirl is not muscular enough in the TV show and is nothing like Supergirl (Kara and Linda) in the majority of Supergirl comic books.

No one can look exactly like they do in the comicbooks, but they can at least look similar (which this girl doesn't). Lex Luthor is a bad example because people hate Eisenberg's version anyway.

yeah, she's 29, not a bad age, but Starfire needs to feel more youthful. The guy playing Robin is 28. I'm not sure where they are going with this... "Teen" Titans?
