Okay... I really just happened to be in the neighborhood of times square and I found two patsyria places. one, which came up on my google maps ap on my phone was some sort of sit-down place with no take out. I was not able to sit and eat an entire pie so that was out but the place seemed nice. this place was on w 48th street in the middle of the block past 8th avenue -- not on broadway. the other one was a little hole in the wall and was right next to that hotel @movie mentioned so I think this was what he meant. it was a very small place and I couldn't help but notice the rating B, which they did not contest apparently. so I go in and see about ordering a plain slice. I go and judging by the CRUST/EDGE, it seems to look good. so he throws a plain 3simoleon slice in the regular pizza oven and goes about his business... takes it out a couple of minutes later and I pay for it and leave. it was a really small place and you barely had room to turn around. from bite 1 I was in hell. literal hell. even the cheese on the kosher pizza I had tasted better than this stodge. the sauce was not sauce but just red bits. I was unable to even finish a quarter of the slice. I really apologize to SciFive because if I had to spend the rest of my life eating either kosher pizza or patsyria hole in the wall rating b pizza, I would go with kosher pizza hands down.

No need to apologize! Not all kosher pizzas are the same!! It just means that the people's kitchen is certified as kosher (which involves certain rules) and that they don't put meat and cheese together. I went to a new restaurant last Sunday in Israel that serves pizza as one item on a menu (they have a page of Italian food on their menu folder) and it was wonderful. Not all pizza here is good, even if it's all (or mostly all) kosher. I'm used to eating pizza without meat on it now and it's fine to me. I love cheese!

SciFive ... thanks. I am really sorry. sometimes when I feel sorry for someone due to them not able to experience something, it comes across as them thinking that I think I am better than them and that could not be farther from the truth. I really do feel sorry for people who are unable to experience anything they are unable to experience. even Jewish women and pants. I would literally kill myself I was not able to ever separate my legs with even rayon. I wish their lives were different. and I understand what you mean about the kosher kitchens. the place where I had the kosher pizza was a colleague of mine from work [and she was engaged to an either VERY ORTHADOX JEWISH man or an actual Rabbi I can not remember as this was 15 years ago and she no longer works at my school] and she was not jewish at all, in fact her last name was SO IRISH. I do remember that she really was in love with this man and he was very nice so she was converting. His Rabbi or mentor had strongly suggested what she do and she did it willingly. so I wanted to bring brownies as a dessert and I was not allowed to make them at my house and bring them because it wouldn't be kosher. she let me make the brownies at her apartment and she helped me with understanding about the dairy pans versus the meat pans. I felt very sorry for her -- her kitchen was the size of an elevator.

I went for bacon, because I really don't like cheese with meat.

Burgers are so versatile. Iβll have them with it without bacon. If Iβm at longhorn steakhouse for lunch Iβll have the bacon cheddar burger. Fast food places, typically no bacon.
