Woody Allen - Annie Hall Manhunter is one of the few Michael Mann movies I dislike actually. I find it too inconsistent in quality. Every aspect of the movie ranges from good (sometimes very good) to quite average. I both like and dislike the writing of Dolorhyde's character but what really hurts the movie is the very disappointing finale. I much prefer Red Dragon (ironic considering I usually think Ratner is a crap director). I have this feeling that Norton was actually directing the movie. I far prefer the way Dolorhyde is portrayed in this version and I like the finale much better.
