Just another reason why this show is doomed to failure...
My internet connection is poor, so I can't watch it on the CBS' internet streaming service. If they don't release it next year on DVD/Blu-Ray, it will be the first Star Trek series that I have NEVER seen. It really ticks me off.
And I don't care how they keep promoting it... It isn't a "TV SERIES"! You have to be able to watch it on TV for it able to be called that. I can watch CBS on my TV, but it won't be shown on that station... Except for the pilot episode...
Yeah, right, why the fuck, would I...or anyone else...watch the pilot episode, knowing that we won't be able to watch the rest of the series?
If it lasts for more than one season, I'll be surprised.

This doesn't sound promising, for an entire series, to be focused on... either:

This doesn't sound promising, for an entire series, to be focused on... either: i believe the plan is for it to be a seasonal anthology series, a la American Horror Story.

The initial idea was for a seasonal anthology - it's unclear if that's still the case. I'm not crazy about the show being fully serialised.
