Mission Impossible 3 was watchable but after a couple of viewings the stupid becomes too apparent.
Tom Cruise needing to destroy the implant fast, yet pauses to tell his wife that he loves her. Played so badly it could have been a joke.
Then, when he tells her he works for the Impossible Mission force she says "shut up."
She is standing in a remote area of China and has just been shooting people and blowing up brain implants, and she doesn't believe the name? Bad writing.
Abrams, Orci, and Kurtzman all suck.
Abrams isn't as bad as Bay and some others perhaps but he is part of the same group that watched nothing but Spielberg movies as kids and are satisfied to be in a studio system where traditional storytelling is absent.
