Has anyone watched this yet? I waited a whole year since the pilot aired last august. I liked it quite a bit. I would have wanted it to be more outlandish, and The Tick hasn't said "spoon" even once, but it's pretty damn funny. When I watched the pilot it kinda irked me that Arthur was a schizo but now that I've seen all 6 epis released so far, I don't care about it anymore. and Dot is so hot. I wonder why Arthur could hear the Tick's voice as a child. I wonder if it's his psyche that has manifested The Tick into the world somehow, or if he's some kind of supernatural entity. What's your favorite adaptation of The Tick? I actually think I prefer this one. The 2001 live action adaptation was funny, but a little too slow, and low-budget. And of course, it was cancelled in the middle of a season which kinda takes away from the pleasure of watching it IMO. The animated adaptation is good and the humor is funny but as an adult I feel it's a leeeetle bit too childish. Does anyone know why they changed Tick's suit after the pilot? I feel the suit in the pilot look a lot more professional than the new one. The new one is more plasticky and cheap looking.

I love it although it's kinda hard to tell who the show is aimed at. It's not for kids like the cartoon was because the show is too bloody and has adult language,I don't think I'd made for people who watched the Patrick Warburton because it's too different from Warburton's. This almost appears to be made for someone who's never heard of the Tick. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it does make me wonder just how long this show will last for. I'm hoping more than 2 if this finds a fanbase which it is.

I know what you mean.
They clearly tried to cash in on the new "gritty superhero reboot" era and gave a Ben Edlund spin on it. I would say it's made for Tick fans in general (especially fans of the comic I guess) and also the general audience who's never heard of The Tick before. But I think I would have to disagree that it's too different from Warburton's run. I mean sure, the Warburton Tick was more like a sitcom since they mostly sat in the diner and talked, but the jokes were mature with many sexual references.

It was one of the dumbest shows I have ever seen and I still somehow loved it. Weird.

maxwellperfectno the rights to the side characters are in copyright limbo so they had to create new ones. Huge bummer IMO DSDSquaredIt's actually pretty smart for a show aimed at 7 year olds. Ben Edlund's vision was severely hampered by the network apparently nauseaSure is
