QUESTION- Your Favorite Film from Each of these 100 Actors ?

Although I don't agree with much of your list, I respect it as an honest looking list, and applaud you for picking what appears to be what you really like, whereas most here appear to just appease critics. So, that makes your list a worthwhile list.


Pacino-INSOMNIA easy pick of those I've seen, the other dozen or so are poor movies.
De Niro-BRAZIL edges out a couple of other decent ones for a good actor who has been in mostly poor movies
Hopkins-PETER AND PAUL, edging out his other standout film Lion in Winter
Eastwood-HANG EM HIGH an easy pick, over Tarantula, Dirty Harry, and Joe Kidd, with no other movie rating over 6/10
Hackman-THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE, a risk taking venture, just over Quick and the Dead
Connery-THUNDERBALL, still one of the most exciting 007 films ever, with two of the most memorable villain deaths, and the most exciting underwater battle scene ever on film
Wayne-FORT APACHE edging out many top classics, notably Searchers
McQueen-THE TOWERING INFERNO, not a great movie, but better than anything else he did. 

Newman-HOMBRE edging out his other classic "Luke"
James Stewart-THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY VALENCE gets a slight nod over many memorable classics and top films. Tough pick.
Heston-BEN HUR edging out a few other good ones
Sinatra-THE PRIDE AND THE PASSION. Frank was actually best in the high octane adventure movies. This one sticks out
Shaw-END OF THE GAME edges out Jaws for me, mostly cause I can't take the chalkboard scene
Burr-PETER AND PAUL
Harrison Ford-RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, just the definition of super fun
Ian McKellan-LORD OF THE RINGS

Ken Russell-BREAKDOWN, by far his biggest risk taking venture
Morgan Freeman-GLORY edges out lots of decent ones, but his charisma has been sorely misused overall
Oldman-JFK the only one of about seven I've seen that doesn't totally suck
Dreyfuss-AMERICAN GRAFFITI. Tough call over Jaws, but Graffiti made me feel the nostalgia over something I never knew and cars usually are terrible cinema, but this movie used them well.
Patrick Stewart-MYSTERIOUS ISLAND edging out mostly decent movies
Arnie-PREDATOR the most innovative of his movies, still a tough call
Stallone-CLIFFHANGER alone does he seem modest. A mountain climber would have no problem beating the tar out of a gang of punks, but in this case he was willing to make it look hard.
Willis-DIE HARD just over Sixth Sense

Samuel Jackson-JURASSIC PARK easily over his other stuff, all of which is mediocre at best
Tom Cruise-LEGEND the only movie of about ten I've seen that doesn't totally suck
Denzel Washington-PHILADELPHIA edges out several decent flicks
Bill Paxton-TRESPASS is stunning, and edges out his "game over" Aliens for me.
Cushing-ISLAND OF THE BURNING DOOMED is a classic, edging out many top films for me
Christopher Lee-LORD OF THE RINGS an easy pick
Ed Harris-KNIGHTRIDERS by its innovation, edges out many good ones for me
Leslie Nielson-AIRPLANE! edges out many others, and don't call me Shirley.

Sinise-THE STAND if mini series counts, otherwise THE QUICK AND THE DEAD just edges out Midnight Clear for me, but all are classics
Will Smith-WILD WILD WEST an easy pick
Hanks-FORREST GUMP edges out some other good movies
Robin Williams-INSOMNIA edges out others for an actor whose movies I seem to rank all about 5-7/10, all fairly decent, but nothing monumental to me
Liam Neeson-KRULL easily, just an okay movie, but much better than all the crap he did afterwards when he totally sold out to Hollywood mobsters.
Scheider-JAWS edges out a few others
Nicholson-ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST sticks out a bit for me
Keanu Reeves-I've seen four of his movies, and all totally suck
Laurence Fishburne-CLASS ACTION by process of elimination over 3 others I've seen that are pathetic.

Sam Neill-JURASSIC PARK III just a bit better in characters over number I
Depp-THE LONE RANGER over several decent flicks, but this one clearly his best
Michael Keaton-Nothing I've seen in about ten of his movies could be over 4/10, and that's generous. 
Val Kilmer-RED PLANET the only good movie of about 10 I've seen. Easy pick
Matthew Broderick-PROJECT X clearly his best, but he's been in a few good ones I've seen.
Costner-THE POSTMAN in a tough call as he's done just mostly solid movies, none superb for me
Michael Douglas-THE CHINA SYNDROME I give the "meaningful edge" to over his super adventure flick
Kirk Douglas-THE INDIAN FIGHTER in a tough call of about ten great films

Christian Bale-EMPIRE OF THE SUN an easy pick
DiCaprio-THE QUICK AND THE DEAD a super easy pick, his only movie over 4/10 that I've seen
Goldblum-JURRASIC PARK fairly easy pick for me
Divito-ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST of course
George Clooney-THE DESCENDANTS easy pick over his tripe.
Jamie Foxx-I've seen three of his movies, and none could I pick.
Brad Pitt-TROY an easy pick, his masterpiece, but Fury is close
Brosnan=ROBINSON CRUSOE over five movies I've seen of his that suck

Dustin Hoffman-MARATHON MAN an easy pick, over tons of garbage, an actor who may have been in more poor movies than even Pacino and Eastwood.
Heath Ledger-A KNIGHT'S TALE an easy pick, a good film he made before he made Hollywood cliche movies
Michael J Fox-BACK TO THE FUTURE an easy pick for me
Keven Bacon-X MEN FIRST CLASS edges out Whitewater, but both are pretty good
McConaughey-REIGN OF FIRE by process of elimination
Watanabe-Correct name for someone who's been in mostly garbage. A real "wanna be" who has yet to be in a good movie, but like most people, I haven't seen his newest ones yet.
Brody-THE VILLAGE edges out a few other very good ones for me.
Sean Penn-AT CLOSE RANGE fairly easy pick
Robbins-GREEN LANTERN by process of elimination, as the other five I've seen truly suck

Brando-SUPERMAN fairly easy pick
Montalban-THE FANTASTIKS is a classic play, and my pick
Seymour Hoffman-COLD MOUNTAIN by process of elimination
Murray-GHOSTBUSTERS again process of elimination of less than mediocre movies
Tom Lee Jones-COBB the only one I can stand, the rest of his movies I've seen are pathetic, sorry.
Dan Day Lewis-THE BOUNTY a fairly easy pick for me.
Russell Crowe-MASTER AND COMMANDER, since his part there was more major than Quick and Dead
Spacey-THE USUAL SUSPECTS is okay, but I'm not enthused about his movies

Chris Waltz-Never been in anything I've seen that didn't suck. 4 movies I've seen that were terrible.

Colin Farrell-I'm not sure I've seen any thing he's been in. A bit too obscure for me.
Javier Bardem-Another "who?". I looked him up, and seen three movies he's been in, all of which are poor Hollywood tripe.
Donald Sutherland-END OF THE GAME, for me much better than Klute, although his role is bigger in Klute, so tough call. These two stick out for me.
Martin Sheen-THE CASSANDRA CROSSING fairly easy pick in a mediocre list of movies
Geoffrey Rush-GREEN LANTERN edges out the others, but none enthuse me

Patrick Swayze-GHOST is his master piece.
Guy Pearce-THE TIME MACHINE by a good margin
Nick Cage-i've seen about ten of his movies, and none of them could I say are more than 4/10
Robert Duvall-TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD  an easy pick

Mel Gibson-THE BOUNTY edges out We Were Soldiers, both okay movies.
Ben Afleck-PEARL HARBOR simply by process of elimination. A ho hum group of movies
Matt Damon-SAVING PRIVATE RYAN another than wins by process of elimination

Wahlberg-LONE SURVIVOR wins like many others here, by process of elimination, not as poor as his other movies.

Leto-FIGHT CLUB, but not enthused about any
Fassbender-PROMETHEUS. I have not yet seen Covenant.
