But censor his poems for what reason? He harms no one. He is never rude or abusive. He just does his own thing. Since when is that a reason for censorship? Funny how thefleetsin gets blocked for poems (I don't click on them myself, they're not my cup of tea), yet there's a Soapbox poster named Bluebell who, every. single. effing. day, bumps weeks- and months-old threads with nonsensical single sentences — and, despite complaints, no one does shit about it. In the words of Seinfeld’s George Costanza, “there are no laws in this place! Anything goes! It's Thunderdome!”

In the words of Seinfeld’s George Costanza, “there are no laws in this place! Anything goes! It's Thunderdome!” there is a long history here (brought over from the imdb board) of an almost emaciated whining associated with anyone who dares shine a light on any and all things spirit voodoo. it's likened unto a feud, a feud i might add, carries with it enough baggage to fill a carousel at los angeles international airport. i don't participate in these feuds. i have more important things to do.

as many beautiful men
in a response to the increase in christ-based homophobia i set myself a goal to document as many beautiful men as is humanly possible.
for religions are truly remarkable at circumcising joy if you let them tool your life.
i remember this with each and every passing night one of my brothers is struck down in a self righteous spite only a god of love could have dreamed up.

baptizing the blessed in the florida keys
when millions of tons of water splatter endless amounts of human fodder can a god be bothered with a quickie baptism right before the sharks and otters dine on what used to be your sanctiifed sisters and brothers?
blessed are those who float in tremendous amounts of salted water.

None of the poems was censored. They are all still there. It's the spamming that has been restricted. And I agree with that. I did read the post. I meant the censoring by not allowing him to post his poems as before.

But censor his poems for what reason? He harms no one. He is never rude or abusive. He just does his own thing. Since when is that a reason for censorship? He can still write poems Morgana and give his views in any thread that is posted here. There was no censorship. Is there a function on this site where I can block fleetsin completely, where I don't even see the existence of his worthless posts? Because I was joyful when the admin restricted him to one thread. It is really fucking annoying that the whiners won the day, but if there is a way I can completely block this idiotic spammer completely from my sight, I won't be so pissed off. Is there such a way? It is the idiot called science is god who is bumping posts of fleetsin. The moron scienceisgod who is a known anti-Semite, homophobe, misogynist and a racist is shouting that fleetsin has been censored. Many of the new breed of conservatives and liberals have no idea what freedom of speech or censorship actually mean. Restrictions based on not following rules/ethics/responsibilities is the new "you can't dictate me what to do" or "you can't control my thoughts" argument. Thank you for explaining, Ajune. I think I should get off my flag waving pedestal now.

Other posters can start an unrestricted number of posts, both on-topic and off-topic. Is that fair? Just asking... why a rule for one and not all?

Pretty much this^ I get that some don't like/get steve's poems... or how they take up space on the board. (Seriously, tho... this board isn't the fast paced hub of discussion that it once was... Are you really upset that a thread is bumped to Page 2 in 2 days instead of 3? ) If one doesn't care for steve.. they could put him on IGNORE... End of problem. I don't really get the need to involve divine intervention and a decree from above.

Just an OT question from an organization freak - do you have them all archived and sorted by date or series?

i do have a database i started back in 1994. although i am behind in entering everything into it. i save everything by date and title.
from 'baby' to 'beauty' to 'beethoven' to 'blasphmey' and beyond. there are many series BUT they all begin with a 'b'.

the static between the wheels
once the spokes are tightened and the wheels aligned it's practically impossible to stop a bicycle clearing pathways once clogged by the divine.
still this is why there is no stopping the sublime hidden there between the lines of our hearts strewn in verse.

You weren't right at as there was no censorship. Fleet just posted one of his yet another poem just above your post. Some members are restricted from starting threads. Koolguy, a notorious member on politics board was stopped from starting a thread. Fleet was accounting for 35% threads here and about 90% of them were reply less and rest got negative attention. Fleet was restricted for bombarding the board with insane proportion of threads which were driving users away. You might call it unfair or whatever but administrators make decisions based on what they think is best for the board. Fleet can still post his poems on any thread that is posted here.
