His first two films are great. Okay, you're right about that too since 'Doomsday' managed to get mixed reviews despite of Steven Paul's involvement.

Hopefully they work things out and the reboot is good. I liked the first 2 'Hellboy' movies with Ron Pearlman and was disappointed we didn't get a third movie 'cause there was talk about a third one happening for a long time but it didn't go through. From what I have been reading they are looking to launch a shared universe with 'Hellboy' and there are a lot of good characters that did crossovers with Hellboy like Shi, Cyblade, Beasts of Burden, Goon and Savage Dragon that could be great as movies. Plus with 'Painkiller Jane'(Jessica Chastain) coming up it would be awesome if they could work together and have a Hellboy/ Painkiller Jane movies.
