I really Really REALLY wish that they had done either a Spin-Off TV Series or at the very least a Movie starring Eliza Dushku as her character 'Faith' from "BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER". I think that that would have been Pretty Darn Cool!

As far as i understood it Eliza Dushku did not want to do a Faith spin of. And that is the reason why it did not happen.
Of course i could be wrong.

That is what I have been wanting for years. I wish they would do it. Eliza has said in interviews she would love to play Faith again and it would be interesting to have a show about an adult slayer who is trying to live a normal life at the same time. They could base it years after Buffy and say Faith retired from being a slayer for a long time and she got married or had a child while Buffy and the other slayers continued fighting vampires and demons all over the world but then something happens to Buffy like she is killed or goes missing and Faith has to step up and become a slayer again. They could have appearances from other characters from 'Buffy' and 'Angel' throughout the show and could even have Spike who is a human again 'cause of the Shanshu Prophecy which would explain James ageing. I would love to see that but sadly I think if it was going to happen somebody would have made it by now.

Tru Calling continuing is another option. That was another great show, another great vehicle for Dushku, that was cut off far too soon

One hurdle with Dollhouse was that it was fairly complex, both the core idea of the show and the relationships of characters on the show, so that it was difficult for people who weren't watching from the beginning, who didn't see most episodes, to just jump on board for a random episode here and there and follow it. I watched the whole thing on DVD, so it was just like a really long movie for me. That's pretty much what I do with all shows. I watch them on DVD (or via streaming now). |

Almost as good as Buffy at times, and certainly had many shocking surprises. I would've liked a few more seasons of it as well. But I feel Faith was Dushku's best role. It was a character that really seemed to fit her. |

They could have done dozens of Buffy spinoffs. Spike, Faith would have been good. The one that seemed to have the most potential and I believe almost happened was Giles with The Watcher. Technically it's not too late for the latter. Would be better than so much else on t.v.

I too would have loved to have seen a Faith spin-off. Would have quite enjoyed a Giles one as well. I doubt it will happen at this late stage sadly, but c'est la vie.
