Supernatural: A Good or a bad show?
My answer is this. "It was better before, but all in all its still a good show"

When it first started I kind of liked it, but I never loved it. I stopped watching it after season 6. I lost interest in it, and I also got sick of the filler case of the week episodes.

It's baffling how long this show has gone for.

I love most of the show.
I hated the season with the Leviathans & "Dick" Roman.
I am surprised it is still on the air, but only because I would have thought the writers would have run out of stories to tell by now, or they would have wanted to end the show while it is still a good show... After 12 seasons, how much more can they do?

I used to watch. I would've thought Jensen and Jared would've been tired of it by now.

After 12 seasons, how much more can they do? There are so many folktales and urban legends and other supernatural stories so it's not really that surprising. They are not even close to half of the stories that are out there. But i think they should end it on episode 300. 300 is a nice round number to end it on.

They should have done 5 to 7 seasons, and then, end it. The show has lost its spark, entertainment & interest a long time ago.

I haven't seen it yet, but it seems like something I'd be interested in.

I haven't seen it yet, but it seems like something I'd be interested in. I wasn't all that interested at first... In the early years, I think it came on after Smallville, and I saw a few of the episodes after I got my weekly "Superboy" fix. I found I liked the episodes where they would spoof other shows & movies. "Mystery Spot" (Groundhog Day) was one that I really liked. Eventually the show grew on me, and then I wanted to watch more. I then went back and picked up the DVDs and have been watching it every since.

Never watched it on a regular basis but Jim Beaver is one of my goto character actors so watched it occasionally just to see him.

I watched the first few episodes, but I couldn't get into it. I guess it got a lot better after I stopped watching.

I guess it got a lot better after I stopped watching. Sometimes I suspect that "they" have my tv bugged. Many a series that I quit on because I didn't like it has continued for ages with people ranting about how good it got. Seems I quit watching, they know it, and then they start writing decent shows.
Where did I leave that foil hat ?

Should have ended at season 5. Wasnt that the original plan? Yes, it was. And they should have honored & respected that. Now, it has dragged on for way too long.

I liked it at first, but it got old pretty fast. I stopped watching the show after one of the main characters got resurrected for the third time...

I think it is still a good show and watch it every season. It isn't as good as it used to be and the quality of the episodes have decreased every season but I will say, I think Season 6 is the last great season of the show and it is very underrated and had a lot of good episodes. Season 7 on the other hand was awful and disappointing. I hate that they killed Cass and Bobby off and I am not sure what their original plans were for the Leviathans but I feel they could have done something bigger and better than what they did. Season 8 was an improvement but after all the rumours how they were going to bring back characters like Ruby, Yellow Eyes and Gabriel through Purgatory it ended up being a disappointment too when they brought back nobody...
