This picture of Delores del Rio could also go in Goofy Looks Journey Into Fear Dolores! A leopard's eating your head! Or vice versa. Reminds me a bit of this Katherine Hepburn getup from Christopher Strong:

If I recall, Hepburn was on her way to a costume party too, as a stylized moth. Without spoilers, let's just say that in this story of a daredevil aviatrix involved with married Colin Clive (the titular character), the moth-to-a-flame symbolism was accentuated.

Fay Wray was praised for her hat identities in old Hollywood and her ability to balance any hat during action sequences. She has a bob-hat named after her.
Great topic!

petrolino I gotta ask ... what is this "Bob-hat" thingy of Fay Wray of which you speak ? I read about it online Bat; a designer created a bob hat modelled after an early Fay Wray look from the flapper era. Not sure if they're commercially available any longer though - kind of a niche market haha.

Something seems slightly "odd" about both of these men's hats in Kiss of Death. The way they are wearing them ? The bends of the brims ?.
