It's hard to pick favourites. If you posted this question every day, I'd probably give different answers each time.
But I'll try: ABBA Bill Haley & His Comets Cyndi Lauper Dorothy Collins Elvis Presley Frida George Gershwin (not sure if he counts as an artist, though he did make a bunch of player piano rolls) Hit of the Week Orchestra Indestructible Military Band The Jacksons Kondō Kōji (he's a video game composer) Liquid Tension Experiment or Louis Armstrong, I can't decide between the two Masato Nakamura (another video game composer) New York Military Band Olivia Newton-John (more a reflection of the lack of "O" artists in my collection) Pat Suzuki Queen Rudy Vallee tied with Russell Morris Silver Convention The Tornados U.S. Instrumental Trio tied with Unique Quartette, but that's more a reflection of the lack of "U" artists in my collection. Vess L. Ossman Winifred Atwell Xavier Cugat (he's the only "X" artist in my collection!) Yuzo Koshiro (another video game composer) Zager & Evans or Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers, but I've only got a single song by both. I really need to check out more "Z" artists.
Damn it, I really need to check out more artists.

--That actually gets in my entire top 20 with the exception of KISS and King's X. Those are the only duplicated first letters in my top 20. The furthest down my list I had to dig for a letter was XTC, but they're still in my top 200. Everyone else is in my top 100, most in my top 50.

(I don't really have any X bands) X Japan - Sadistic Desire (Single Version)Unfortunately... "This video contains content from Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc.. It is not available in your country." What's up with that? Some of the albums I bought recently from Amazon.com were Japanese imports - although the bands themselves were European (see sample songs below below). But Sony seems to think that no one in North America would ever buy a Japanese import.
