I have no idea why this is. Its actually not bad at all. Its not a movie. Its a TV series. If you take that into account and dont focus on the visuals its pretty decent.

This doesn't matter at all. It's completely insignificant It matters because its historic! It's a TV show that doesn't have any real impact on the overall direction of the company and they didn't heavily invest in anyway. I honestly don't see it as even a minor interest if it doesn't do well.

People were chomping at the bit to hate this one. Of course this is the initial reaction it'll get. It will be vindicated later on.

Somewhere in the world, Dennis, Tristan, and DC Fan are celebrating claiming this is the end of the MCU.
This was just a bad idea from the moment it was announced as a TV show. It should've been kept as a movie or just shelved completely.

And who would be so inhuman to kick and reboot a moribund patient lying on the ground bleeding? You must mistake us for some human raptors, dude... But I agree: a bad idea is a bad idea is a bad idea...

But if you nicely dare me I might just suffer through this one on a free week end, provided it has less than 10 episodes, but don't be surprised if I unleash all critical instruments to dissect this bloody afterbirth. Btw when it comes to shows I am a even more difficult customer than with movies, I loath all the DC stuff too (as far as I have seen them). We live in the Golden Age of serialized TV, FFS. Marvel and DC seem not have got the memo yet...

Also, Kevin Feige had absolutely nothing to do with Inhumans, so HE still hasn't made anything universally panned by critics and audiences. Basically everything he touches turns to gold.

Marvel and DC seem not have got the memo yet... Oh I wont dare you. Do whatever you want. I saw it. My honoust opinion is that it was not a good idea to bring tbe first two episodes of this show into a theatre. I agree there. The budget for this TV show is nothing compared to that of normal theatre outings in the superhero genre. The time frame in which this show was produced was also quite limited. It shows. Visually its lacking. Storywise and characterwise it is quite interesting. At least it was to me. I didnt know anything about the Inhumans except what I saw on the first three seasons of AoS and this royal family idea was ok. Its not GoT but what the hell is? For a TV show it was pretty decent. The IMAX thing was the mistake. But Im sure it will be entertaining enough. For you I will make an extra pitch: Hardly any jokes about sensative nipples or huge turds. 👍👍👍

to be universally panned by critics and fans mutually! 3.1 out of 5 by audience is not "universally panned" that means "pretty damn decent"

And anyways, these are based off just the first episode in IMAX. Not the whole series.

He worked on Elektra, the 2 Fantastic Four movies, and the 2 Punisher movies." Well, that's true, he was only the executive producer for those films, and didn't have much to say what goes on in those universes.

Seriously, we're talking about the same Kevin Feige who had the last laugh with 'Ant-Man' against all odds.
