U4EA episode, insta classic, gotta be top 3-4 most memorable of the series. Priestly finally able to break out of his goodie Brandon mold. If you've ever watched Call me Fitz, you'll know www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMzLFYkme3II always wondered how the cast reacted to his performance on set - must've been a fun eye opener. Shoutout Brian Austin Green - drunk David was a fun trip also, chasing his own episode carrying performance during Scott's demise the previous eps. The chaser eps to follow, the one with Emily & the parade float... my childhood memory seems to have remembered that as longer than a single episode arc. Weird. I guess one night a week maybe 3-4x a month on network tv skewed reality. Disc 3 on deck. Still crazy that only halfway through, the season began in July, still all the way until May to go. Noyce. bran the man's leather jacket sans shirt should have caught on as a 'look': emily valentine was great! didn't she go to paris to swim with the whales?

The crux of the show was premised on legendary Canadian high school drama Degrassi Jr. High, & subsequently Degrassi High. I think it fitting that Priestley being Canadian was a 6 degrees of Degrassi somewhere. That premise seemed to vanish with the FOX'ification of primetime, but eps like U4EA were still here & there bringing up the darker sides of youth like Degrassi.

Yeah. Kind of pissed at the Riverdale folks for being assholes to Luke. I mean, if it wasn't for BH90210/ Aaron Spelling Luke would not be famous. Although, how much brooding can one do without running the risk of being shot? Idk about Nat, at least not behind a grill. He looked bad in 90210 (remake/continuation/sorry excuse for entertainment) so please don't make him churn out megaburgers.

Maybe Wayne Moses can run the peach pit and add surf and turf to the menu! 🥩 🦀

Watched S2's 'A Walsh Family Christmas' this week. Steve's maternal grandfather, Al, (in New Mexico) always makes me think Hal Holbrook, yet the actor is Parley Baer. I see I'm already halfway through the season which is kind of a bummer, & yet it'll carry all way through April. 10 months of a season still makes me laugh & applaud.
Nothing has really been standing out for me much lately, other than the usual I always thought Emily Valentine had more airtime & angst with the gang. She's barely in the show right now. The show still with characters blowing up at small things - like Kelly's mom angry about Mel originally opting to stay home for Christmas with his son & his son's mom, god forbid they do it for their child lols. Andrea the ever righteous newswoman, never ceases to grab the greasier gossip stories for The Blaze as if news & trash went hand in hand.

It has probably been over 20 years since I've watched an episode of this show but I loved it when it was out. I used to like the young, fun Kelly Taylor. As the show progressed she seemed to get more and more serious and dull and boring.
I just read Luke Perry had a stroke. Man, are all the characters getting that old? They are in their 50's now? It is hard to believe that much time has passed.
I can't recall how the show ended. Did they "wrap things up" and tie all the story lines up and give closure or was it just cancelled with story lines still hanging?
It has been so long I kind of forget what was going on. Brandon and Kelly ended up together but he cheated on her.....some woman who gave him a watch. Did they break up? Who was David dating at the end? What was going on with Donna at the end? Steve, was he still dating that one long term GF? I remember most of the beginning episodes and middle episodes. I've kind of forgotten what was going on during the last season.

Oh yeah, Valerie. What was up with her at the end? Was she a good person or still the evil, treacherous character? I couldn't believe how little, sweet Kelly from "Saved by the Bell" turned into a character I disliked so much.

I couldn't believe how little, sweet Kelly from "Saved by the Bell" turned into a character I disliked so much. She was a vixen but was also deeply troubled and suffered from parents neglect from one end and sexual abused from the other. Why they never delved into her going to a mental institution for anything was beyond me. Heck, they filmed half of the sister show (Melrose place) in a mental hospital!!!
