I am. watched last night. Thought it was a good 1st episode. Interesting to see where they go with it. Seems the clown thing has been overdone over the past year and also with It coming out this week too. |

I will admit folks this bold , crazy , wild , & very dark show is not for everyone's taste here   . As is I mostly watch this intriguing show for it's dark storyline essences myself   . Also if some of you folks have never seen it before and are or maybe a bit curious about it . IMPO - My suggestion would be to definitely start at season 1 otherwise it could get somewhat confusing  . The multiple storylines within it tend to randomly jump around at will and a lot . This is how the main storyline formula has been with this show from season 1 ( and most likely because every season is connected to one another somehow ? ) . |

IMPO - It does appear as a theme of this particular show Ryan Murphy seems to use a lot of current news media and also certain homages to other classic films as well  . That's yet another aspect of this intriguing show that appeals to me also   . Thanks so much gbone for your reply  . |

I'll definitely be watching this season. IMPO - AHS Freak Show was actually my top favorite ( the whole 1950's circus theme and characters drew me in )  . I agree Asylum & Hotel was another excellent set of seasons for me as well . Unfortunately Roanoke was the weakest and a bit disappointing of all the seasons for me - IMPO . I'm also really looking forward to this new season and was already impressed with the first episode . Thanks moviebuffbrad and thebayharborbutcher for your replies . |

I'll definitely be watching this season. This proves that you're either both totally insane or that you both have terrible taste. Freak Show is a fantastic season. The majority of fans prefer Asylum, which was a great season indeed, but Freak Show is much better. It had so many great moments. It's one of my Top 3 favorite seasons, right along with Coven & Roanoke. The only season that is bad is Hotel, which was ruined by the atrocious & unbearable Lady Caca. Even though it was bad, Hotel still had a saving grace: the performances delivered by Dennis O'Hare as Liz Taylor and Sarah Paulson as Hypodermic Sally. The new season is off to a great start. Let's hope the rest of the season will be as good.

yes watching hits, saw the first episode last night loved it. looking forward to see where it goes from now. hope they will drop the trump bashing/demonizing (just because it would then become a highly divisive show plus it would be a cheap tension generator) but other than that I think its on the right track to be really great. |

Gaga's season was pretty kick-ass More like it sucked ass in the worst possible way, mainly because of Caca herself and her inability to act & express emotions, as well as her awful speech delivery. The role of the Countess should have been done by Lily Rabe (who did great as Aileen Wuernos). That said, Hotel has a very weak main storyline.
As for this new season, Sarah's new role is really interesting. The way Ally's phobias are starting to kick into high gear is quite fascinating, especially with those panic attacks. Can't wait to see more.

I've been watching since day one. My favorites were Murder House, Freak Show and Hotel. I detested Roanoke from start to finish.
I watched the first episode of Cult the other night and was turned off as soon as I saw the clown but I'll keep watching in hopes that there is something more to it than politics and blood.

I've given up on this franchise. I loved "Murder House". "Coven" and "Asylum" were OK, and "Hotel" was quite good. I didn't like the milieu of "Freak Show" so didn't try it, and gave up on "Roanoke" after a couple of eps.

Freak Show, Roanoke & Coven were the best 3, and truly amazing.
Asylum & Coven were quite good too, although not as much.
As for the tedious Hotel, it was truly disappointing and boring in all aspect, minus the performances delivered by Sarah Paulson & Dennis O'Hare.
