We are all born without a belief in any particular god. Than why did i in the bastille of my mother's womb pray to the glorious Babylonian God Anu. And as soon as i freed myself from the bastille of my mother's womb i cried out his name.

And as soon as i freed myself from the bastille of my mother's womb i cried out his name. You have remarkable recall, I must say although perhaps you weren't to know that, apparently Anu has gradually distanced himself more and more from mortals, going ever higher into the heavens, which down the years has caused him to be venerated less directly...

We are all born without a belief in any particular god. While this is most likely to be true.... A person left to his own devices would also most likely create his own beliefs as he grows. Religion and superstition is inherent in the human experience. It's what makes us human.

We are all born without a belief in any particular god. We're not born with a lot of things.

Step 1: open your eyes
You're done. You're now an atheist.

We are all born without a belief in any particular god. We're not born with a lot of things. We are born, however, hardwired to see patterns in things.

We're not born with a lot of things. We are born, however, hardwired to see patterns in things. Don't get me wrong. If atheists want to be compared to slobbering, poopy pants babies who don't even believe in their parents, who am I to argue? I'm just saying that throughout the entirety of civilization, the moment people start thinking, the majority have belief. If it's not biological, it is certainly a societal norm that would likely occur down to a society of two or three. Atheism thrives in societies that champion it. It's equally about influence from the time we stop being babies who only know a couple of things.

Step 1: open your eyes You're done. You're now an atheist. You are in dire need of a step 2. I can't be religious solely because I'm sleeping at night...

If atheists want to be compared to slobbering, poopy pants babies who don't even believe in their parents, who am I to argue? When atheists ask for that, then feel free to let me know lol. It is certainly true that a belief in magic and the transcendental is common to humanity. But not a belief in any particular variety, especially not before the impulsions of one's particular culture and family, which was as I said. Atheism thrives more in societies with the best education, among the best educated. (As opposed to being forced on populations by the state). That is not to say that I am making an equation between intelligence and education, though.

Think about religion rationally, with an eye to believing the truth. You'll become an atheist.
Easy, really.

Atheism thrives in societies that champion it. Theism also thrives in societies that champion it.

Religion and superstition is inherent in the human experience. It's what makes us human. Of course it isn't. If that were true there would be no atheists or supernatural non-believers.

Of course there are... And skipping the first half of a post to contradict the second half of a post doesn't really make a point. Being an atheist doesn't mean that you have to deny basic human nature. Human nature also has some violent tendencies... Pacifists existing doesn't negate that fact.

And skipping the first half of a post to contradict the second half of a post doesn't really make a point. Yes it does. There's no requirement to address every part of a post. According to you it does. You said that religion and superstition were inherent to the human experience. Not really comparable. Pacifists don't deny the existence of violence or violent tendencies, merely assert that they aren't a good or acceptable way to resolve problems. I don't have a religious nature that I don't accept; I don't have a religious nature at all.

It is. Man can see beyond just what his eyes tell him what is before him... He can dream. He can imagine. He will create an explanation when one isn't provided... and even cling to those machinations to various degrees when reality eventually provides an explanation. I'm not denying anything. History speaks this to be true. Saying that Man doesn't do this because "Well, I'm an atheist" is the denial. Wishing it to be not comparable doesn't make it not comparable. Pacifists might not have a "violent bone in their body"... That doesn't change humanity. You might not have a religious nature... but that doesn't stop Humanity from having one. Hell.... Your weird adamant denial seems almost religious in nature. Like it threatens your belief (or the lack thereof) because Man is a superstitious creature. Also... I would argue that your non-religious nature exists mostly because your life has remained relatively stagnant (not meant as an insult of any kind). and predictable. Throw your world existence into some turmoil... Say a comet hitting the earth... and I bet you'll have a few "religious" thoughts pop into that head.
