Both of those films take place before Infinity War, so as far as we know Avengers 4 could take place right after Infinity War. Thats kinda stupid, why not make IW p1 n 2 the LAST films in the phase? or IWp1 the end of phase 3 and P2 the start of phase 4? It's kinda awesome actually. I can't wait for some prehistory to the current MCU. Some of my favorite scenes are things like young Hank Pym working with older Agent Carter, or Bucky assassinating Howard. It's going to be an awesome way to build anticipation for Avengers 4 without jumping right into it. |

Didn't they announce some time ago that there was only 1 Infinity War movie and that Avengers 4 was an unnamed project? So there may be a period of time between the 2 movies.

I think it's a safe be that Thanos is still the antagonist for Avengers 4, but the story could still be different than infinity war. Infinity war is more likely about him trying to assemble the Gauntlet, while duking it out with the Avengers and Guardians and Avengers could be about either Thanos with the completed Gauntlet and wrecking the universe up or could be about the aftermath and Thanos wants revenge. Either way whatever it is, the title of Avengers 4 is a spoiler, according to feige. So I'm interested in what it is. |
