Yeah, it was really good but it is silly to talk about any single movie as being the greatest.

Its one of the best in this genre. Zodiac was inspired from this and both were based on true story. Korean movies are really better than some hollywood.

Till the time the movie was released and uptill now the murderer is not found. This is based on a true story as well. I was very curious when i got to know that similar kinds of movies are based on a true story and both from different countries.

^I think it's the other way round. The director of Memories of Murder happens to be a big fan of Zodiac and listed it in his top 12 movies of all time. I am not sure if Fincher has spoken about Memories.

I also loved From hell starring depp, based on jack the ripper. The cinematography and atmosphere was great. The old london was shown perfectly. By the way i havent watched manhunter. I will watch it in coming days.

MANHUNTER is great man. i think it is better than SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. Will surely give it a watch. Frankly speaking i did not love silence of the lambs as much as others and it is overrated according to me. Hanniball lectors performance was one of the finest and it is a big reason for people to shower their love for the film.

i watched THE DELIBERATE STRANGER (1986). despite the cheesy music and some cheesy acting, it is a surprisingly good 3 hour TV movie. the dreamy looking MARK HARMON is very convincing as the charming and impressive TED BUNDY who did have certain character deficiencies. FREDRICK FORREST and M.EMMET WALSH were pretty good as the investigators. there were many beautiful women in bit roles. frankly, BUNDY's story deserves a reimagining. this was good, but could have been a lot better. i watched it expecting an average flick. but it did surprise me on many occasions. the director did a good job making the movie from the point of view of bundy, his girlfriend, his well wishers and the police detectives.
(7.5/10)

frankly, there arent enough great police procedural films. Does L.A Confidential count? Or is it too glossy? I think Sehar is a terrific police procedural set in Uttar Pradesh.
