I mentioned that film specifically because it's made by Fox. Well yeah sure there's that but it would likely have more in common with these two titles. In any case, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets poor reviews again.

Exactly, the same studio that fucked up the characters of Doctor Doom (TWICE! ), Deadpool (which they fixed), Rogue, Cyclops, Dark Phoenix, and the Fantastic Four knows more than Marvel Studios? GTFO! I can live with 'X-Men'-related characters staying at Fox, but 'Fantastic Four'? Yeah, Fox is better, my @$$! Just look at 'Fant4stic' and see if you can hold that argument. Did you know that Ant-Man director Peyton Reed was going to direct the Fantastic Four? I would've love to see that film. At least he went to direct a Marvel movie in the future. A good one no less.

Yup. I did. And keep in mind, MCU fans were prepared for the worst because Reed hasn't exactly made a "good" film before along with the fact that he also had a huge gap to fill after Edgar Wright left. After this, I've learned not to doubt Scott Derrickson despite his questionable portfolio before 'Doctor Strange'.

And the family angle to that film was perfect, and the Fantastic Four are the first family superhero team. I have no doubt he would've done a better job than Tim Story.

We managed to get a good 'Ant-Man' film first simply because you're too lazy!!! As for 'Ant-Man' replacement directors, I initially hoped for Rob Minkoff (given his talent on kid-friendly films), but I guess he could direct something else eventually.

Not according to Rotten Tomatoes, the same site that places Wonder Woman #1 on best comic book movie of all time. Seriously dude, if Ant-Man was the exact same movie, just replace Marvel Studios with Warner Bros. and DC, you would think it's one of the best comic book movies ever.

What DC needs to do is get people on their side. Marvel Studios (movie section) now has the clout to get people to go out and see movies based on the lowest tiered characters and love the movies. The MCU built that relationship with the fans. DC is using the idea of their top two characters to try and force people to love their movies. DC should have gone ahead with the DCEU with Green Lantern (we probably wouldn't have gotten Deadpool, but eh). DC did the same thing with the movies as they did with the comics. Rebooted. The only reason we got BvS is because they really want to get to Justice League and bulled through. Even now there are rumors of reboot or separation of the universe (multiverse my butt).

DC's problem is that for so long all they cared about was making Superman and Batman movies, and the few times they tried otherwise it's clear no one cared about the end product and they barely put any effort into it (Catwoman, Green Lantern).

That's because they thought they had the goodwill of the audience. Having Superman and Batman alone was suppose to dole out the goodwill. Doesn't happen like that. They only have the goodwill of Batman and Superman movies. Even when they aren't good movies.

many of the mcu fans should watch their tempers. Fox still has a better chance of making a better F4 movie than marvel ever could. bring in Mr Noah Hawley please. They've had three chances and blew it, as they say three strikes and your out. Noah Hawley only has interest in doing a Doctor Doom movie, which is not set in stone, and what Fox has for the FF is essentially a Power Pack movie with the children of Sue and Reed. And Hawley’s first film turned out to be a dud, so... yeah.
