unlike pacino and de niro, keitel never sold out completely. Makes me wonder why they never seemed to adhere to the "1-2" rule. Have you seen the two films Keitel made with the late French filmmaker Manuel Pradel, 'Ginostra' (2002) and 'A Crime' (2006)? I think they sound interesting. Keitel's long been keen on working with filmmakers globally and probably meets a lot of young international directors on the festival circuit. There are relatively recent films of his I've not seen from French filmmaker Franck Khalfoun, Canadian director Jonathan Sobol, Irish director Mary McGuckian, Italian filmmaker Renzo Martinelli, Israeli director Ari Folman, South Korean filmmaker Shin Hyung-Rae ... and others.
