Not getting into the fact that if she is too busy talking to a camera to watch and teach her kindergarten class so no wonder they are going swimming in the fishtank... I hate this commercial now.
It is BARELY the end of the first 'week' of school and they start this shit up again? understand completely over the summer and definitely understand it before spring break but they seriously got back two freaking days ago. already this bitch wants a vacay? really?
srsly, booking.com/cable providers/station managers, a little COMMON SENSE!

I hate when classrooms are depicted like this. Kids don't act like this when they're in school, even with a mediocre teacher. Parents believe this is what goes on in a classroom; because they're unable to control the one or two kids they have at home, they think it's much worse with twenty or so kids in a schoolroom. Kids are generally much more respectful at school than they are at home, because the expectations are much higher there. At home, the dopey parents let them behave like savages.

She should have booked a permanent vacation to a country without an extradition treaty with the United States.

On top of that, she looks like she's a paper airplane away from snapping and holding the class hostage.

Also If we notice in this commercial how complete drawn and exhausted this poor lady looks . Then happily in the vacation end scene how nearly bright and refreshed she looks afterwards as she mouths the phrase " YEAH ! " .

I don't know this for certain deembastille . It's possible that these companies are going by " the thinking ahead to suggest selling early on angle " . Especially for certain people who sometimes book vacations weeks or even months in advance . So they won't have to scramble wildly to the very last minute when the near vacation date moment arrives ( if so it's quite a clever tactic for both the seller and buyer indeed ) . Thanks deembastille for your subject post and reply .

I don't have a problem with the commercial as a whole. This commercial came out right about the time for spring break last season. that is fine. My problem is that this commercial was not really shown over the summer, but here it is in September, where we in NYC [for example] have JUST finished our first FULL week of school, and already people are being shown how this teacher just. can't. hack. it. It's not that she needs a vacation, it's that she needs to remove some of the things that make her classroom not realistic. we can't have fishtanks in my school now. nor are we allowed to have out cellphones out much less having it accessible to a 5 year old so she can call japan or whatever. I don't think this commercial BEING SHOWN NOW is clever at all, I think it makes fun of where the world sees America on education ladder -- near the bottom. I hate that fact but that is where the top two countries see us.... because we emphasize our priorities being on $, status and entertainment. New Zealand and Australia are two countries with the highest literacy factors, because they stress education and not entertainment and gold teeth. just sayin. I will reiterate, I have no problem with the commercial as a whole but I have a problem being shown NOW. We are still running recording our classes to get their 'jumping off point'. why does this bitch need a vacation now?

Like I said, the teacher always looked like she was about to have a nervous breakdown.
