Admin, I don't mind DC-Fan's usual bullshit and being an annoying little prick because it's amusing. But dropping to a new low and disrespecting the US military like he did deserves to banned for good. He claims the MCU hates US soldiers. Okay, but what about the thousands of service men and women on active duty now who are fans of the MCU? Do they hate their own uniform for liking the MCU? Because that's basically what you're saying, DC-Fan. Not to mention the day before 9/11 as well. You disrespect the entire nation and those who were killed that day.

The disrespectful POS who dropped to a new low here are you and all the MCU fans who claim that Steve Rogers being frozen for 70 years and waking up a healthy young man in a world with plenty of things that weren't available in the 1940s is a sacrifice like all the soldiers who were killed or maimed fighting for their country in a war.
You never did ask my question:
Are you claiming that being frozen for 70 years and waking up as a healthy young man in a world that has plenty of things that weren't available 70 years ago is a sacrifice like all the soldiers who were killed or maimed fighting for their country in a war?
It's a YES or NO question so it's not that hard to answer. There are only 2 possible answers. So which is it? Did Steve Rogers sacrifice himself (like many MCU fans here claimed) or not?

I see Admin deleted his post here, which I can understand, but I just wanted to let him know that I agreed with him. As much as I am annoyed with DC-Fan (and as much as I'm now berating myself for ever having gotten involved), I don't think he should be "banned" just because he's a fool. With that said, I am--to go wildly out of my area of expertise and venture into some amateur psychology--somewhat concerned that he doesn't recognize his faults. If we're immature, we do tend to double-down when we're called out for something we know is wrong, but it does seem worrying all the same.

Because it was MCU fans who claimed that Steve Rogers sacrificed himself and it was me who called them out for being wrong by pointing out that Steve Rogers is not only still alive but also living as a healthy young man in a world that has plenty of things that weren't available in the 1940s so Steve Rogers didn't make much of a sacrifice at all. Then MCU fans, being immature, doubled-downed on their claims even thought they knew they were wrong.

You're confusing fiction with reality again you dumb fuck. And not sure why you think a sacrifice requires death all the time. In case you haven't noticed, he sacrificed his chance of being with Peggy and having a life with her. So yes, he did make a sacrifice. Plus, everything else you said is irrelevant because he didn't expect to survive. Now back to your dumbass claim. For starters, your exact title of the thread was "MCU fans hate US soldiers". Try disputing that you dumb fucker. But where you were the most insulting to everyone serving is when you said MCU fans are disrespecting US soldiers, including Steve Trevor. How fuckin' stupid can you get?! He's a fictional character and you basically trivialize everyone who has and is serving now by equaling his sacrifice in a fictional movie about Gods and superheros to those who have died serving today. Again, if you truly don't know why what you said is wrong and disrespectful, you don't deserve to be on here. Reassess yourself. All you're doing is just grasping goddamn straws as usual like a little whiny little bitch you are because of the whole MCU vs DCEU and the fact the MCU is still successful (w/ SMH passing Wonder Woman in B.O. numbers, which I bet is why you made this thread). Dude, get over it! Grow the fuck up and move on. They're just movies.
