"Concept of Time". Thoughts?... ...or shoulders. Both are true. At least in my dogs case.

My cat Maybelline understands time, and gets upset if my mother does not get out of bed at the correct time. She's like a fluffy alarm clock.

The last cat I had was my alarm clock. He woke me when he was hungry.
Now, no more pets.

They do have some concept of time, but its very simplistic.

I don't know about that. My dogs go ape when I come home from a long day. If I'm just gone for twenty minutes or something, they don't give a damn.

I have to disagree. My Malshis know when my Wifey is coming home and they get really excited and start crying and barking around the time she comes home from work and if she comes home late they know and get more upset.
