One-nothing. Masiello from the corner on '27. Everton poor.

Everton 1-0 down and Rooney playing, surely at his age and shape he can't be playing 2 games in 4 days. Could be worse, they could be playing ACMilan
They'll be knackered and get a hiding at OT on Sun

It's all very embarrassing, if you care about the Europa, that is. Gomez made a run without fear of molestation on '41 and curled in a beauty from outside the box. Three minutes later Petanga had time and space enough to pick out Cristante who breached the Everton area with only the keeper to beat. Which he did.

We could haver done with John Sitton back last year. Martin Jol of Tottenham was kinda sacked during a game, ironically during a UEFA Cup game, news broke while they were losing that he was going to be sacked, and everyone in the stadium knew before poor old Martin Jol did who was left unaware in the dugout.

Like I said on the manager thread, Martinez also hit the ground running with Everton.
Second season found him out.

Could have been another two goals for A in the last two minutes.

They were first out of the traps when the transfer window opened and Koeman seemed to be the most ambitious of managers but it seems that he like Van Gaal and De Boer may be full of Dutch shit.

You can not place Van Gaal in the same category as those 2. He's won trophies everywhere he has gone, 8 league titles for 4 different clubs in 3 different countries and won the CL with Ajax. Even though his time at Man United may not be considered a success, he still finished higher in the league both years than Mourinho or Moyes managed.

With Lyon in Everton's group, they may struggle to get out of it. Everton have disgraced their Queen and country tonight.

I see Apollon got an equaliser in the end, only bit of good news for Everton I suppose. Hopefully they do these 3 teams at home and pick up a point on the road to get through in Dec
