Charlie O used to have sheep grazing in RF. A lot of baseball was played in that park. The American Association Kansas City Blues, the Negro League KC Monarchs, and the KC A's. And it was the home of Harvey

Charlie O. Finley hated the staid old world of professional baseball. So he came up with the Gold and green unis with the white shoes, Charlie O., the mule mascot, and Harvey. To get technical, in the film, Harvey was a pooka, a spirit of good or bad fortune who took the form of a talking invisible animal. Not a rabbit. EDIT: I'd loveto know who the A's player is. I love the "What the blue fuck is that" look.
