It used to be English mustard on their bollix, now it's class A narcotics. It's an outrage. As if they don't go through enough. I've had two rescue hounds before now (one of them an hour from being shot in this horrible little garden plot as a non-runner, but I got to Clonmel in the nick of time to bring it home - I felt like taking the owner's shotgun and firing it at him there and then, to be honest, but the friend that drove me there and back was a friend of the owner so I kept my mouth shut for her sake) The other one I got from Hersham Sanctuary - (pet name of Victor) but he couldn't settle and reluctantly had to be returned. To be frank, I'm quite happy that there is hardly a track left in the country. The alternative lifestyle for these dogs could never be as bad. And none will be destroyed as a non-runner.
