An extra 15 minutes would be worth seeing.

I loved the movie just as it was,but am very excited to see what's in the director's cut. Only thing is I doubt it'll feel like a different movie like some director cuts do.

I wouldn't get too exited as this apparently isn't due to the director wanting to do it but the studios telling em to do it, so it's not really a directors cut but a studio mandated extended cut

Well that's disappointing. There was nothing wrong with the movie the first time. I wonder why Warner Bros wanted him to do that.

I mean........ it entices me to buy it on Blu-ray but also while it's not a director's cut, sometimes an extended cut is somewhere between a director's cut and a studio mandated extended cut, a cut the director enjoyed with scenes they felt were strong, but made the film move too "laterally" at times. For example "The Town" has an extended cut, but it's not a director's cut, there are scenes that Affleck liked but kind of bogged the film's pacing down or didn't translate to the audience, like there is a scene where Affleck's character relapses, get's drugs, get's high shoots some bottles...... and that's it, show's the character is struggling, but audience felt a little confused by its inclusion due to how brief and non-consequential it was, it made sense for Ben but not the audience.

The film was long enough. It is only Chapter One anyway, so why bother with a studio or director's cut? Why not? I'd be happy with a 3 hour movie.

I'm hoping one of those deleted scenes is the Eddie Corcoran death scene. The film would have benefitted from seeing more than just two child deaths at the hands of Pennywise to make him seem more formidable.

Well, I think the theatrical release (not the Director's Cut) will be available on iTunes on November 21st to purchase (not to rent yet).
