NalkarjMurder She Said was my (and Margaret's ) first Rutherford Jane. That's the one with seeing the murder from the train. Based on the "Some-time-or-other Train from Paddington" ? She is sooooooo young in it ! 4:50 from Paddington, if I'm remembering correctly. Not one of AC's better books, but it's a heckuva fun movie.

I love most of her books. Some of the movie versions have been quite good. Peter ustinov's Death on the Nile was good, and Evil Under the Sun, though it completely changed some of the characters. Finney's Murder on the Orient Express was good too. Helen hayes was excellent as Miss marple, I particularly liked her in a Caribbean Mystery.
