Some shockers so far;
Michigan tied withe Air Force near the half. 6-6. Air Force does not have 1 pass attempt.
Okie St blowing out Pitt at Pitt. 35-0.
Watching UCLA-Memphis. Good game. 17-13 UCLA.

Spectacular Hail Mary, the QB threw from his own 35 yard line (the play started on the 30) and it was a great catch. Wow! Very entertaining game (I'm neutral, wasn't rooting for any particular team to win, but appreciated the good game).
I watched Virginia Tech at ECU, and it was kind of bizarre. The Pirates scored 17 points rapidly, and were leading 17-7 early in the first quarter... then never scored again. The Hokies routed them 64-17 (and only didn't score in the 70's or 80's because they slowed down and got starters out in the fourth quarter).
Duke beat Baylor 34-20. I watched that one too. Baylor is in pitiful shape. They are 0-3 now (the Blue Devils are 3-0).
It looks like UCLA at Memphis was wild. I didn't watch this one. The Tigers won 48-45.
I look forward to Clemson at Louisville.

I look forward to Clemson at Louisville. there was no excuse for that Florida TD in the end. it wasn't your typical 'Hail Mary' where 3-4 receivers gather around the end zone along with 5-6 defenders playing zone waiting to knock down a tipped ball. they had to know what was coming. secondary got 'burned' on the last play of the game on a deep ball. i don't know who takes fault for that - Butch Jones or the Defensive Coordinator - but that was a disgrace. |

That was an amazing game, Florida's defense kept them in it, their offense sucked like usual and they almost blew the game with that end zone fumble, and then totally mismanaged the clock in the final minute, but got the amazing Hail Mary pass.
Tennessee is always overrated and always disappoints, and then they will win their games against cupcakes in November and finish the year hot and then people will say they will be good the next year, and then they disappoint again. Not sure how much longer Butch Jones can keep his job.

How about the Gators getting that Hail Mary to beat Tennessee! That was an amazing game, Florida's defense kept them in it, their offense sucked like usual and they almost blew the game with that end zone fumble, and then totally mismanaged the clock in the final minute, but got the amazing Hail Mary pass. Tennessee is always overrated and always disappoints, and then they will win their games against cupcakes in November and finish the year hot and then people will say they will be good the next year, and then they disappoint again. Not sure how much longer Butch Jones can keep his job. it's a bad look to hope somebody gets fired - but he's a joke and have been wishing he'd be replaced for years. tennessee is an elite college football school and in the SEC - a power conference; however the school hasn't been Elite for years upon years upon years - i.e. since tee martin won the national championship after peyton left. thought lane kiffin was that guy - but he bolted after a year - they need to get a 'name' in that school. hell - did anybody hire les miles after he got axxed from LSU last year - i'd even take him at this point |

My Aztecs defeat their second straight Pac-12 team - - beat Arizona State and Stanford in back-to-back weeks after beating Cal last year. Pac-16 needs to have SDSU!

My Hawkeyes move to 3-0 with a less than spectacular 31-14 win over North Texas. The Hawks lost their top 2 running backs to injury. Next up, Penn St at Kinnick Stadium. I want to think they have a chance, but my hopes are not high.
