Warner's officially been ruled out. Tbh as long as Labuschagne and Smith's names are on the team sheet, our batting should be just fine. Though admittedly you can only expect those two to come together at 2 fer fewer than 30 and save you so many times. I think Harris has to be one of the openers. Uzzie might be worth a go for one test match.

Might as well give Renshaw another chance, or really piss the Vic’s off and pick Daniel Hughes from NSW.

Do we end up stuck with he and Warner for the next 12 months? Dom't risk it!!!

Well, the 6ers lose a game they rrally should have won to start the BBL season. Credit to Hobart, who were undermanned to start with and then found themselves 2-4. A latr charge led by Tim David got the Hurricanes to a very competitive 178 and the 6ers looked like getting there easily at 1-118, but excellent death bowling coupled with strange tactics (Christan and Braithwaite kept back to 6 and 7) resulted in a comfortable Hobart win.

Don’t think the Sixers are wining the final again. Poor tactics and half the side is mediocre at best. Hobart on the other hand will be getting the #1 T20 batsman in the world in Dawid Malan, and with Meredith, Ellis, Boland and Faulkner have a decent pace battery at this level.

Cameron Green was bowling, and Bumrah flushed a drive straight back at him into his head.
The pink ball must be doing a bit, India were 9/129 and Australia A is 6 for less than 100.
In the BBL, the premiership favourites the Stars are giving it to the wooden spoon favourites the Heat. Really, the Stars should be looking to win the BBL undefeated. They’ll have the services of Maxwell, Stoinis, Coulter-Nile and Zampa for the entirely of campaign. Those 4 alone should win it. Add in Cartwright, Stanlake and Maddinson and they look almost unbeatable......

Pant and Vihari smash tons against Aus A as the touring Indians tune up for the First Test. In the BBL - easy wins for both Melbourne sides. Stars smashed Thunder, while the Renegades walloped a very disappointing Scorchers. In Wellington, the Black Caps are dismantling a poor WI side with consummate ease - the men from the Caribbean just aren’t good enough against such a professional outfit like NZ.

S Marsh continued his good form top scoring for the Renegades last night...
AB not impressed with Oz A's "effort" in the tour game. Joe Burns form line is looking like Warner's in the 2019 Ashes.
Windies might avoid an innings defeat in the test match. If they do, that will be a very minor achievement.

His old man's middle order pinch hitting helped us win the World Cup in 87! Woukd still prefer him to bowl like his dad though...

Ben McDermott has been around for a while now - never really kicked on and I don’t think is even playing 1st Class cricket for Tasmania anymore.
I’m hearing whispers that Australia might be looking at bringing in Moises Henriques and have Mathew Wade open - and in what looks like the worst possible outcome, because Warner and Burns and Pucovski have been injured or out of form, Cameron Green won’t get a run because he might be a tad too inexperienced.

Well, Moises is definitely in, confirmed in a release by CA, Sean Abbott's the one to come out. Calf injury.

Nice of the Indian captain to promise - 'high voltage' action since he's only playing one test...
Really looking forward to watching this series. Big injuries on both sides, some interesting selections - should be fun. I hope Cameron Green plays, I want to get a look at him.
Day/Nighter - Adelaide - have to fancy Oz.

Green in, Wade to open...but not today, well not early today anyway. India win the toss and bat. Burns retained? Sheesh.
For India, no surprises. Yadav gets the nod for third seamer. India's batting line up looks a little stronger than ours. If they want to draw or win this series India have to win this game. Kohli's only match for the series and a chaotic lead in for Australia. When life gives you a free kick, you need to make the most of it...

Can’t believe they retained Burns. I literally only checked the teams to find out who Harris would be opening with. Might put a tenner on Burns to score a ton and 50 on him to get a Primary.
