I think bat first = win imo...
but Morris is looking good. This is real english cricket - serious seam and swing stuff going on today. Its not easy.

I hope this one turns out close. Still think SA-England's 2010 series was one of the best ever Test Cricket I watched and these 2 countries have given many special moments. The ex and current captain on crease here. SL-Ind seems to be going India's way all the way. pimpinainteasyNow you should be back on public demand.

BAT FIRST WIN big - or the competition isnt good enough and england win whatever.. but there is movement early on - and morris looks like a great 'english' pitch bowler - so you never know. he is making it move about.

IF SA can limit england to 250 - game is on. However equally these two could bring up a 100 partnership and if England get to a 360 plus total for me that would be game over .

It doesn't look like rain will hamper chances of a result as the match should finish before 5 days. Your perfect innings by Cook under testing circumstances. But they have to start afresh under difficult conditions. Patience and more patience required of batsmen.

Early morning jolt for England as Cook departs without adding much to his overnight score. Tough period for England but two batsmen on crease who can take the game away in a session.

29 years old. Plays for the same county as Angus Fraser and apparently bowls like him. Took a hat trick last year to secure Middlesex's first county championship since 1993. Their star in 93? Angus Fraser.

England in a good position and Stokes and RT-J did the business, but I'm a little annoyed England allowed the tail to wag. 92 all out would have been nicer.

Angus Fraser. Fond memories of Big Man Angus Fraser steaming in. Then putting his hands on his hips as the batsman clocks him for four. One of my favorite players since I started following the national team.

Funny you should remember Fraser that way as I actually think he bowled very well in the 90-91 ashes series and the turning point in the 94-5 Ashes series was Fraser coming into the squad for the Sydney test onwards. Inexplicably left out for Martin McCague, Fraser bowled superbly at Sydney and Adelaide with England having the better of both games.
Anyway, quality innings from Stokes. The man is a proven match winner. Always been a fan of his. As for the Saffers, I renew my calls for Bavuma to bat higher. He is utterly wasted batting with the tail. De Kock should drop back down to 7. He should be sharing long partnerships with Temba and then farming the strike to the tail rather than driving with hard hands in the middle order and getting out.

India finally register a comfortable victory at Galle ground after losing the last 2 times around.
I sort of agree with Tafe regarding Bavuma's batting position. The match is practically over and it's a shame because saffers had begun well.

No one should underestimate England's God given ability to royally fuck things up from a winning position!

ermmmm.
i have a bad feeling about this - we may not finish them of.
Stokes , jimiiy and broad however are match winners and can just go on streaks that knock over anyone on there day - but we may need Ali to do the job day 5 !
I would declare at 350 ahead tbh- i hope root has the balls to
