Only way 1000 wickets could happen would be if you played without injury or being called up to the national team for 15-20 years, which is very unlikely.

Australia lose 7-38 to lose T20 to the Windies.

Dying a slow death in G2 as well. Dan Christian the only hope needing 85 off 28 balls 6 down.
Missing our two best bats but the bowling attack is top shelf. And as I type Agar and Dan arguing about who's run out after they both end up the same end.

Some brutally one sided short form cricket going on atm.
Windies hump Australia once again. Finch took 31 balls over his 30, Henriques wasn't much better with 33 from 29. Gayle clobbered 67 off 38 balls as they chase down our 6-141 with 31 balls to spare.
Pakistan finally scored enough runs to test England, notching 331 on the back of Babar's 158. England lost some early wickets, but run rate was never an issue. Vince got a ton and Lewis Gregory (77) played a measured knock to see England home by 3 wickets with 18 balls to spare.

On this nontroversy with Australian players taking a knee: I don't care one way or another. If you want to do it then do it. If you don't want to do it then don't. My personal feeling is that it achieves absolutely nothing, and I think the racist abuse hurled at Messrs Rashford and Saka after the Euros Final, following England regularly kneeling before games throughout that tournament, is proof of that.

Aussies seem to be having a good start today. Really nice to see west Indies winning although not surprising since Windies have been a consistent performer in the shortest version of the game for many years.

Terrific game really.

11 needed off the final over, and 4 chances at running a single turned down. I’m not sure I fully agree with those tactics. Surely an international cricketer, of any persuasion, can block a ball and run. Riley Meredith proving yet again, that he can’t bowl death overs. I don’t think anyone truly knows what Australia’s best XI in T20 cricket actually is. I know I don’t have a clue.

Originals vs Invincible? FFS what shitty names. Can't wait to see the London B-Sides vs the Yorkshire Indecipherables in the next 100 game.

Last nights Pak-Eng T20 decider sounded exciting. I had it on the radio. England chased down Pakistan’s total with two balls to spare.

Australia recovering after being 45-6 against the Windies in the 2nd ODI. There is a player called Ben McDermott playing for the Aussies. I think he might be the son of Craig McDermott.
Australia had a very big win in the 1st ODI.

Australia had a very big win in the 1st ODI. Ben is indeed Billy Jr. Was one of the early stars in the BBL comp last year. More a hitter who can roll his arm over than a genuine all rounder. Unless Australia recover to something 225+ this series is going to a decider.

Jason Holder is a great all rounder. Let's leave it at that and move on to Game 3...

Jason Holder is a great all rounder. Let's leave it at that and move on to Game 3... Australia A’s top order is having a shocker of a tour. Josh Phillipe’s form has completely deserted him, as has McDermott and Henriques.

Australia close out the series with a comfortable win. Hazelbrook the star with 2-18 from 8 overs, while Starc took 3.
Australia looked a little wobbly at 4-99 chasing 153, but a run a ball 51no from Wade settled things.
Some England players talking about pulling out of the Ashes if their families can't join them. England are already going to get belted, could be 2000-01 West Indies levels of futility if they pick a second string squad.
Mind you, if England do pull out and they start planning with NZ Cricket right now, could we actually see a 4 or 5 test series for the Trans Tasman? Pipe dream probably, but I for one would rather see a full length series with the Kiwis then another 5-0 or 4-0 England stinkfest

Wisden overview
Has anyone an idea on how Croft would compare against Holding, Roberts and Garner?
