3-0 England. Saffers have no batting to trouble England.

If Stokes plays the whole series and The Burnley Express stays fit then I go England to win it 2-1. No Stokes for any of the matches I'll punt for 1-1.

Boxing day in Oz. NZ win the toss and bowl. 80'000 expected which is well north of my predicted "55k tops." The Don's Grand Daughter belts up the Oz Anthem. NZ get a good Kamahl impersonator. Pattinson in for the injured Hazelwood: Let's go!

Movement, but a slow pitch. If Australia are sensible they should be 4 or 5 down for around 240 at stumps.

I don't really like the wall to wall adds for betting agencies either, but it is what it is.
NZ are bowling too short and sun's come out. Australia will be in complete control by the end of today.

Warner's wicket was a Michael Slater special in that you could see it coming 2 or 3 overs out. Brilliant catch by Southee though.

Smith looking genuinely unsettled out there. He really doesn't like short stuff and, if he keeps playing it this badly, he'll get plenty of it.
Australia 2-67. Interesting game thanks to Warner's loss of concentration and Smith's mental struggles.

Australia 4-257 at stumps. Should be good enough to set up another 400+ total and an easy win.

Oz V NZ - Agree with hosko, that match looks like going exactly where he thinks it will.
Saffers V England - Yet another shit toss call from Root, unless England can muster 450 + he has exposed them to batting last. Add into the equation that two of England's main bowlers are coming off a bout of the flu you would think another days rest would have been the way to go. Stokes off the field for some time, possible dehydration, possible early symptoms of the flu bug that has crippled the camp.
de Kock once again saves Saffers though and proves that the pitch is ok once you get in. We shall see...

Think I am with Hosko & Spikeopath on Trans-Tasman match. Aus is just too much for the kiwis.
I am expecting a tight game in Africa. I do like if the saffers get the first match. Otherwise, England will be all over them.

Steve Smith doesn’t get his ton - got an absolute snorter from Wagner that took the shoulder/handle of the bat and a good grab by the gully did the rest. Still, a lesser player might have gotten 10-15, Smith got 85. Paine and Head looking good though. 5/316 now, Head on 53*

Australia bowled out for 467, NZ 2/44 in reply. Good innings by Head for 114, Paine in the runs too for 79. Wagner the pick of the bowlers and really deserved a 5 for, but 4/83 off 38 overs is a fantastic effort. Williamson looked tired and played a tired shot, top edging a pull for 9. One very interesting thing to happen was two reversed LBW’s. Tim Paine was given not out and it looked for all the world it hit him outside the line of off stump. According to Hawkeye though, it was in line, and he was sent packing. Then late in the day, Ross Taylor was caught in front by Pattinson which, live, looked absolutely salmon trout. Marais Erasmus thought so too, and the only person who didn’t was the Maori champion who reviewed and it was apparently going over the stumps. No bias, but Paine looked not out, Taylor out and the DRS changed the decision.
England 60/2 in reply to South Africa’s 284 at lunch.

Like I said, shite toss decision by England's captain...
Either Buttler has to score one of his free scoring 100s or England will have to bowl Saffers out for 100/120 to have any chance - pitch playing up now.
Where's pimpin?

Buttler gone, unless Archer and Broad can put on a fluke 50 partnership this test is over and Saffers going 1-0 up.
Man they are crap away from home.
