Sharma goes early. You can forget a 320 run chase. Just a matter of whether India can survive. If they're any more than 4 down at tea, I can't see them surviving. Only 1 down at lunch at it seems that Gill is having no issues at all scoring runs. Once again, the key man is Rishabh Pant. If he gets away, Australia might get nervous.

1/106 - India absolutely cruising. Australia need big inroads, and quickly.

Looks like a different game with Hazlewood bowling. Starc has been shite, as have the tactics. I think India need to make sure they're 2 down at tea. Take what the game offers them from there.

2-153 Australia still leaking runs. Starc has been absolutely abysmal. 175 to win off 45 odd overs. India is about the same chance as Australia in my book. The pitch is doing nothing extraordinary.

1/106 - India absolutely cruising. Australia need big inroads, and quickly. The key is wicket retention. 175 off about 45 overs doesn't need slogging. Some tired bowlers out there who need wickets to stay energized. Don't throw their wickets away and they can win this without taking a lot of risks.

Not the best shot there by Rahane.
Here’s the game though.
Rishabh Pant. Anything could happen here

Awful shot from Rahane. Too early to be playing shots like that. Australia right back in the game.

3-183 at tea, India need 145 off 37 overs. Australia aren’t winning this. India might though.

I think even though it is tempting to believe India can possibly chase it, in my experience of watching cricket I have seen that even if teams get close to chasing big scores, they eventually do very rarely. Still India has chance to save this test. Let's see.

Australia can definitely win this if India throw away wickets. If Pant gets out with any more than about 60 needed then it's time to call off the chase.

Missed stumping off Pant - Australia needed that badly. Difficult, really high bounce, but a definite chance

80 off 17 with 6 wickets in hand.
India should win from here with Pant in and looking the business.

Game on. India 5 down. Dumb shot Agarwal. Just need to see Cummins off and none of the rest look like hurting them.

5 down after Agarwal played an awful shot.
The tie is in frame here.
Pant is still the key man .

Cummins is the key man. How long can he keep going?

Cummins is the key man. How long can he keep going? Dean Headley did it once.

Cummins is the key man. How long can he keep going? Dean Headley did it once. And destroyed his knees in the process.

6 overs of balls just inside the wide line looks the main shot here...
