Ok this Morris guy is pretty good, No Steyn, Morkel, Philander or Rabada and they still have so much talent.

Well batting in 2nd innings was not as easy as some experts were saying and SA bowled well and NZ batted not so well. On to one day series now.
Boult's superb spell was one great positive for NZ.

themanwithnoshameSri lanka beat the second tier Aussies. I bet that you didn't like that.

Tahir's celebrations are awesome. Of course I would hate them if he was an aussie, but whatever. SA's bowling was insane for what was basically a second string fast bowling line up. Could be a tough next 5 weeks.

2nd t-20 match between Aus and Sri is scheduled for today. Aus should win today. I guess Finch needs to get some runs.
NZ-SA ODI may be affected by rain.

Southee actually came off with the bat today. Couple of big wickets here give NZ some hope. Morris great with the ball for SA again.

36 required of last 2 overs and Sri Lanka did it. Must have been great day for Lankan fans. Don't understand why this series was scheduled? Anyway, because of work missed all the matches today. Seems NZ-SA was also an exciting one.
Meanwhile Australia register a mammoth 469/7 dec against a resonably good India A team. Smith and Marsh both got 100s. I expect Smith to score 500 runs but it could be career changing series for Marsh. Like that of Hayden in 2001. Seems Aussie are preparing well.

Ben Stokes must be doing somersaults....he's just been picked up for 3 million bucks in the IPL auction. Jason Roy didn't get picked up, nor did Guptill again.

Don't watch IPL but it seems the selection process is a bit strange. Like they always overpaid Yuvi. They picked Sanga for what reason I don't know when he used to fail every time. The windies players usually do well. Guptill is pretty good in t-20 thing so could have been picked. IPL and other leagues should try to bring players from Ireland, Afghanistan and Holland.
Note: We have 5 users from previous forum. Tafe and hamsterman have joined in from Aus and NZ. Is Salter not coming? The place would be much better with him here. I had talked to Spike and he might join later.

Yeah I don't really watch it either but I find the auction process very interesting.

Last post I read of Salts he said he wasn't joining a replacement forum. In words to remember him by, he then informed the person he was talking to, some gormlesd twat on the Politics board, that it guaranteed that he would never again talk to someone as stupid as he was.
Brings a tear to the eye no?

Yes, man.
Salter had a great knowledge of the game, even had played at club level and also got attention of many other cricket fans. This is a great loss.

I never understood how he could spent so much time debating with obvious morons on that board. I will miss his cricket knowledge for sure.

Stokes and Mills say that the price they got is insane and the thing has still not sunk into their heads. One good thing was that couple of Afghans got selected. I am really surprised that English cricketers have now become premier t-20 cricketers. Stokes and Mills in shock after 'life-changing' IPL auction

First Post on the 'new boards'. Feels kinda strange. I for one hope Salter and Rohan come over too. AJ, Hamster, Tafe, Man (with no shame) - I come in peace, no more pitch doctoring talk!
Still laughing at Australia's T20I travails. Still don't know how they lost that one, those last 3 overs saw some of the worst bowling and fielding tactics I've ever seen in international cricket.
I see NZ still are clueless against Leg Spinners. Tahir had a field day !
Aus v India A - smart work from the Indians. Played a virtually all pace attack on a hard fast bouncy deck. Of course Australia played well on it. It'll be nothing like the conditions facing the in the Test.

Hello Bob. Welcome. If you have any contact with salter and Rohan then please do invite them.
Irrespective of whatever happens in Australia tour, I believe Smith will score 500+ runs in the series. if another batsman hits form for Australia then it could be exciting.
As for Australia (2nd tier) I can't say why this series is happening in the first place when first choice players are away in India.
