To our Australian Posters - Bob and Tafe - Guys I am going back to India on 26th October. My stay in Australia (since July 2014) was totally without any problem. I am a permanent resident so I can return later but I thought I needed a change in scenario and more buzz. I believe Indian market is more competitive and has more opportunity in my field so it is worth a try. Overall, I do say Australia is a very nice country and full of great people. From my experience of 4 years I do say Australia is one of the best places to live and offers a peaceful life and opportunities for every kind of people. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay in our wonderful country. If a nuff nuff like me can get ahead, then there is hope for anyone here. But, if the opportunities are elsewhere, then elsewhere you should be. Only recently, they had a big recruitment drive in my field for experienced people to go to firstly Bahrain, then Qatar and Oman. Big money. More than double my current salary. But I’d miss home and my family too much - and it wasn’t possible to FIFO it either.....oh well.

Australia doing there best to look like amateurs. 9/141 - exactly half of Pakistan’s score. What Labuschagne was thinking I don’t know, and there were quite a few hard handed pushes at balls for wickets. Both Marsh brothers should be sacked. Usually when the knives come out, they make a few runs. Especially Shaun. Or he gets injured. Got to say, Travis Head looked in total control, and looked the goods until he nicked one. It was like a giant fern in the middle of the Sahara. Totally inexplicable, but there it is......

Happy trails aj. I've had nothing but good experiences with expat Indians. I actually volunteered at an orphanage in Chennai for a couple of months in 2009, learned some Tamil, went to some CSK matches. It's a great country. I'd like to go further north (on a holiday rather than a 2 day stop watching cricket as I've done in Mumbai and Kolkota) some day. May your blessings overflow in your homeland and remember, you're welcome back here.

Well, 145 all out. Finch has been a decent stop-gap but when he's your top scorer, you're looking at a subpar total, particularly when your second highest scorer is a) the no.9 and b) only scores 34.

@nxnwrocks I know you enjoy such sporting moments, I hope you can laugh a bit from today's cricket action.
and lol @stupid uploader for whining about Australia. The run out sums up what's wrong with Pakistani cricket. The uploader should think about unprofessional behaviour of cricketers of his own country.

Genius Pakistan has given us some really funny moments (esp in Inzamam and Ijaz Ahmed era). Meanwhile, England is validating a thread I started a couple of months ago titled "English cricket will soon enter into a Golden era." England looks unchallenged in ODI cricket because of their belligerent batting attack with so many weapons. And a video on cricinfo titled Social Story: England 'scary' right now was saying something similar to what I have been saying. Yeah, perhaps England still needs a spinner in t-20 who is a sort of force as Saeed Ajmal or someone like him. But they are still good in t-20 as well.

Friend or foe, I hate seeing batsmen getting out when on 99. Agonizing.

Do we concentrate way more on adapting to conditions argument when we talk about disparity in home and away results for cricketing nations? For example, India put up a horrible performance in England. Bar Kohli (who was very very lucky himself) no Indian batsmen could even give appearance of being decent players.
Could it be that psychological advantage of playing at home plays a much greater part than not able to adapt to conditions argument? The English wickets were normal wickets and not something alarmingly bowling friendly and yet Indians could not perform. When I get time I will have a look at disparity between home and away wins of football teams in famous football leagues around the world and get back to the issue.

But they are still good in t-20 as well. if I said to you I wasn't excited by the capabilities of this England "white ball" set-up I would be lying. They genuinely bat down to 9 - maybe even 10 on some selections. Yet as we all know here, the flip of a coin, the change in the weather on any given day... Spinner in T-20? Again it will come down to on the day, but you know what fellas, England should be world champs in T-20 regardless of spin options, and it riles me. For every plaudit Stokes gets, and whatever headlines he makes, I will never be a fan until he wins England the World Cup he lost us. My friends think I am harsh, but I'm 52 now and I could still bowl a better last over than he did in that final. Hard man? No, bottled it, so time for England's so called star all-rounder to justify the hype. Anyway, I digress England have an outstanding Captain in Morgan, helps that he has a rather talented squad behind him, bet the Irish are miffed Not real cricket anyway, i would much rather England win an away Test Series in Asia. Maybe even before I die they learn how to play spin...

England win yet another match by DL that they should have easily won anyway. Jason Roy gives them a good start in every match it seems.
Malinga has looked quite well in the series and it seems they might take him in their WC 2019 squad.

It is still beyond belief that this series was scheduled during monsoon season, it shows a complete disregard for the fans who have travelled at great cost to be there. Baffling.

A bit ashamed to admit it Carl that I didn't understand your pic. It's a bit confusing.
