So Finn spending all his time in TFA fawning over Rey was just a sham? I see.

Maybe I'm just an idiot but I don't see it. Yeah, I don't either. Sinjir Rath Velus is a fantastic character from the Aftermath trilogy who is gay and whose love affair with another man is expounded upon quite a bit. So I can see why people are talking, but Finn was obviously romantically-interested in Rey at the beginning of TFA. He certainly began as a heterosexual character, so to move him in a different direction would make dialogue from TFA very strange.

He only asked that question once and only to see if she was already taken. The rest of the time he was trying to get some off her. How you interpret the events of TFA as Finn being much more interested in clarifying if she had a cute boyfriend rather than any fawning over Rey herself is beyond me.

How you interpret the events of TFA as Finn being much more interested in clarifying if she had a cute boyfriend rather than any fawning over Rey herself is beyond me. It's very simple, and one doesn't have to read particularly far between the lines:- 1. Finn is devastated at the death of his "good friend". 2. Against the odds he very quickly manages to find solice with a new "good friend", whom he even allows to name him. 3. On assuming a second tragedy, he asks Rey if she has a cute boyfriend. Any "fawning" over Rey only happens after all these events have taken place - and I may add - after he seen her powerful masculinity in action. I'd imagine it's some kind of psychological transference at play after seeing every man in his life die...

Is it just me or does Finn look like a mannequin in that picture?

I'd imagine it's some kind of psychological transference at play after seeing every man in his life die... 1. Finn is devastated at the death of his "good friend". I like how you insinuate that they were more than just acquaintances by using the words devastated and "good friend". The truth is we don't know any of that. For all we know the stormtrooper that died was just another number. More likely that was the first time he had ever seen anyone die right in front of him. AND then he sees the more death when the villagers are killed. If anything he's "devastated" by all the cavalier killing.
2. Against the odds he very quickly manages to find solice with a new "good friend", whom he even allows to name him. Its not against the odds that he finds Poe. He knew that Poe was taken and that he was a pilot, and that's why he rescues him, to get away from the first order. He doesn't allow Poe to rename him, Poe does it all on his own, and he takes the name because he knows a number is no name for a person.
3. On assuming a second tragedy, he asks Rey if she has a cute boyfriend.
Again, to see if she was already taken.
You see gayness here because you WANT to, not because its actually there. At least not yet. Lets wait until we see ACTUAL gayness before we interpret it into perfectly normal behavior.

I'm just saying, if I ever got lucky enough to get THE Daisy Ridley to come back to my hotel room, and we're about to get it on, and we're there and its about to happen, but what she whips out turns out to be... penile, well then... I guess that night will be my first penis. No homo or nothin'. Her or Gal Gadot or Jennifer Lawrence. But only them three and no homo! lol!
Oh, and only if their dicks aren't bigger than mine. Cuz' I cant have that.

Jennifer Lawrence is hot as fuck, but if she's in my bed and she's got a bulge? I'd tell that nasty bastard to get the fuck out and don't ever come back. I wouldn't even squeeze a tit first. I know you're kidding, but I'm starting to feel like this scene:
