Oh, I think you might be a little confused. The Chronicles of Riddick is the second movie in the series. Riddick is the third one with Katee Sackhoff; whom I also loved at Starbuck. Aside from a few clips, I haven't seen that movie, so I can't say how I feel about that particular aspect of it. But I looked up the James Bond scene you're talking about, and yeah that's really bad. I have a question for you. My wife used to work with a woman who was in a relationship with another woman; a colleague in a different department actually. It never even entered into my mind that Judith was anything other than a lesbian. My wife would later find out that this was the first and only same-sex relationship she had ever been in. One day over lunch Judith had told my wife that she had never had feelings for another woman until she met her partner. She had always dated men and just simply fell in love with a woman. She even said that if they ever broke up she would probably still date event. What say you said that situation? Ohh. Okay. I haven't seen the movies but I came across that recently and mentioned it. I have seen 'Gigli’ and aside from the problems I pointed out it is a terrible movie and I am surprised Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck sunk so low to make it 'cause it is one of the worst movies I have ever seen and a lot of my friends loved 'Maid in Manhattan' which was the movie Jennifer made before it. With your Wife's friend (Judith) it sounds like she is bisexual with a preference for men but found a woman who changed that for her. I don't know her so I can't really say but everybody is different and some of us don't even come out until we are in our late teens and early 20s 'cause we have our minds on other things like studying and work and don't realise until that one person comes along and opens our eyes. For me, I knew I was Bi from a young age 'cause I had feelings for Beccy and all my celebrity crushes were women but I tried to fight my feelings and felt like there was something wrong with me 'cause of the things my Father said about homosexual people. If I broke up with my Wifey now I would never go back to dating guys 'cause while I love having guys as friends I know I can't fall in love with one and would never be happy. That was kind of my point. We only see these characters for short period of time.. We don't know everything about them, so if we see what is perceived to be a seemingly change in sexual preference it might not always be because of sexism or homophobia. I do agree with you though about that James Bond scene. I've never seen the movie, but I would think that if I was watching the that would take me right out of it. Hell, I've watched some of the Daniel Craig movies and were enjoying them and that all the sudden be like, "this guy is an ass hole".

I get what you are saying and you are right, we don't see some of the characters that much so we don't know everything about them but the problem is 'cause there are so little homosexual characters in movies especially lesbians who have happy endings when we do get characters that identify as lesbians a lot of us latch on to them 'cause we want to see ourselves represented well on screen if you understand what I mean and when they do that it is not hard to take it to heart. Yeah. The James Bond scene is very bad and it is far darker and homophobic in the book than the movie and is where the term 'raped straight' came from.

I don't either. It is really bad and the lead is supposed to be likable in movies and novels. I like some of the James Bond movies with Roger Moore 'cause I grew up watching them with my grandfather and have fond memories of watching them with him. The Roger Moore movies were different 'cause they added comedy elements to them which I liked and I found Roger Moore to be far more likable than Sean Connery's version of the character. I also liked the Pierce Bronson Bond movies and liked Pierce in 'Remington Steele' but I never liked the Sean Connery movies and I find the new guy they have playing Bond to very flat, wooden and devoid of a personality compared to Roger Moore and Pierce Bronson and I only watched 'Spectre' 'cause I am a fan of Léa Seydoux.
