No. There are far too many other places to get information so why would anyone support a fascist like jeff bezos? People need to stop throwing that word around like it's cheap candy. Someone full-on called me a Nazi on here because I made a crack about girls taking boy names. Talk about trivialization. I use IMDb once and awhile for trivia and fact checks. I just used it now to see if the guy in Bridge on the River Kwai was the first Japanese actor nominated, eg.

You like to dictate what people can say and do, huh? Do you whine about the use of the word racist with the same faux OUTRAGE? Keep on goosestepping but take a break long enough to read up on Bezos. Destroying countless small businesses so he can accumulate more billions is only one of his numerous atrocities. He is truly despicable and an enemy of freedom of speech.

If I remember correctly Sessue Hayakawa was indeed the first Japanese actor nominated.

Not at all. I might've visited once or twice since February. I went there as often as I did for the message boards. Without them there didn't seem to be as much a reason anymore.

Yes, now and again I want to look up the details of a film or actor etc. But I don't go on there near Y as often as I used to when they had the discussion boards.

Yeah, of course I still use it. Still regularly search for films to watch, look up films, actors etc. after I watch films, read the trivia, etc. There's no better resource for that.

Only if I want to look up a cast list or something of that nature. I'll still look up a movie rating too, and I've noticed that the number of users rating the movies this year has really dropped off from previous years.

Yep and just as much as before the big change. With the ability to add in the filmboards archive i don't see much of a difference and still find IMDB excellent

For some reason it removed the film boards archive from my post and replaced it with asterisks

Yes, I still go to IMDB. I absolutely hate the fact that the message boards are gone and I miss them every day! However, I still use the site for a wide variety of things.
Release dates Ratings Episode lists and dates Cast and crew info I enjoy making lists on the site News Birthdays Trivia Box office info Trailers
You can find all of this on other sites but it is just so easy to find all of this on IMDB. I just wish they would bring back the boards. Like another poster mentioned many sites are closing message/comment boards these days. News sites are one example. I think SyFy network got rid of their boards too.

Rarely. Amazing how much my usage was based purely on the message board systems. Almost never. I go to Wikipedia now. If I can't find the answer, then I will go to IMDb, but that is rare.
