I am a huge fan of the first two, but I don't see how a woman who hasn't been relevant since 1991 is going to save this franchise.I would love to be proven wrong, especially since she's arguably the top female action character of all time,, but I don't see it. Returning casting, at least to me, doesn't automatically guarantee an upcoming sequel will be great. Same thing applies to Jeff Goldblum for Jurassic World 2 as it does for Hamilton. When was the last time Jeff Goldblum was relevant? Agreed. One needn't look any further than the two Terminator movies Arnold was in after T2. It's not even guaranteed to be good if James Cameron directed it. He's not the same director he was just as Schwarzenegger and Hamilton are the same actors. The stars need to align, so to speak, in order for a movie to succeed.
