Star Wars. MCU and DCEU are tied. I remember some wackos on the Alien: Covenant board.

Star Wars. Civil conversation about the franchise is all but impossible on this site because of it.

It's not a movie, but Game of Thrones fans are annoying as all hell when it's all they talk about.

MCU fanboys are definitely the most insane. MCU fanboys think that MCU invented the idea of "shared universes" and also think that MCU invented the idea of post-credit scenes. MCU fanboys also don't know the difference between World War I and World War II. MCU fanboys keep talking about Wonder Woman fighting Nazis in her movie.

DCEU fans are pretty annoying in how they must constantly bring up box office numbers (mostly thanks to high openings before word of mouth could set in) and their one Oscar win (for the same category Norbit was nominated for) - basically the fanboy equivalent of guys who drive huge trucks to compensate for small penises. Then they think they're intellectuals because they can understand the C- Philosophy 101 student thesis papers coming out of Jesse Eisenberg's mouth and that everyone else is just too stupid to like or care.
But Star Wars fans pretty much leapt into first place a few years ago. They actually used to be really fun and cool (Revenge of the Sith was the first IMDb board I really hung out on), but now that kids that grew up with the prequels are old enough to nostalgia-whine, the fanbase is at war with itself and everyone around them. And in spite of what I said about DCEU fans, they at least like and endorse their strong female character and aren't whining that Aquaman can't be played by a Hawaiian.
And I feel confidentally in these picks because I'm neither a Marvel nor Disney fanboy, but any dissent leaves you treated as such.

Batman fans were the worst at one time (around the release of the 1989 movie). Insulting of Keaton and West and anything that was not Miller's Batman.
Star Wars fans were very mild in those days.

Not a movie, but Christopher Nolan fanboys are the worst.
They think everything he does is absolutely perfect. So good that they'll inflate his films ratings on the Top 250 regardless of the actual quality.
I like Nolan's films myself, but his fans are something else.

I don't know. I'm thinking maybe Star Trek, especially if you get the Trekers and Trekees at it.

Take a shot for everytime DC-Fan said "MCU" in that short paragraph. It'll give you a buzz.

The one making juvenile petitions to fire directors. Right now that's Star Wars.
Srsly though, all time it has to be Star Trek. Trekkies are never wrong about anything, apparently.
