Can't forget Dean Martin.
Some may already know, but Sinatra's nickname in the rat pack was "old blue eyes." Dean Martin gradually acquired the nickname of "old red eyes."
Also a little unrelated, but the first generation of American astronauts (many of whom were veterans/test pilots) were notorious hell raisers in the bars along the space coast in Florida. Cocoa Beach for any "I Dream Of Jeannie" fans. I spent a lot of time surfing there in my youth...at that point, if you asked any older police officer about what it was like dealing with the astronauts, it would start with a sigh.
