Hollywood refuses to accept that Hillary lost, so probably not. Anybody notice how many great movies were made during the Reagan era? The 80s were an amazing time for movies.

The shouting down of free speech. How many riots have conservatives caused in the past decade? None that I have seen. But liberals have rioted several times each year over the past decade and often times over bogus issues. They just likes them a good riot! |

Quite the opposite. Hollywood is liberal, and so is the majority of the public that is the target of Hollywood films- young people.
Plus, the whole "USA!USA!USA!" thing has limited appeal overseas, for obvious reasons.

PPS: BTW, the majority of people who voted for Donald Trump - especially his many elderly white voters - don't go to the movies. Many, if not most of them just sit at home in the evening watching all the lies and right wing propaganda on Fox News, or attend monster truck rallies, gun shows, fundementalist church services and Nascar events. And of course, as I am sure you know, apart from drinking 'shine (the poorer ones) and gobbling beer and bourbon (those with good jobs), many of them are addicted to prescription pain medication (they don't call oxycontin "hillbilly heroin" for nothing). So obviously, they don't get out much. Instead, choosing to block out the real world and dream of things returning to and to how they were in the 1950s. These are not progressive, or even aware, people.
Fact is, in the light of the sheer horror of Trump's election and the rise of white nationalism in middle America, Hollywood has a heartfelt duty to make more humanistic fare aimed at sensitive, intelligent mature, compassionate audiences such as the brilliant and beautiful Oscar-winning indie hit Moonlight - which has now grossed over $25 million at the US box-office; considering the budget was about $1,5m, when it comes to return on investment this was one of the most profitable films of the year) .
